DD IS CELEBRATING SOME GHEY AUSSIEFAG HOLIDAY INSTEAD OF SOMETHING FROM A GOOD COUNTRY
This sort of post isn't appropriate.

Cut it out, you're not 11 years old.

Besides, Armistice day is commemorated by all countries that lost people in the Great War.

lol, sucks because I normally don't have class on Tuesday. Why can't I have a day off on Monday?

Veterans Day in the USA. Kind of cool that the President came out to re-dedicate the USS Intrepid Air and Space Museum in NY. They used to have an exhibit about his father's TBM Avenger torpedo bomber.

My throat starts to hurt and I feel weak. I guess the mad marathon to finish the comic as fast as possible (entire nights spent in photoshop coloring up to 7 pages a night) is finally taking its toll. Either that, or I simply postponed the illness by staying focused and now it hits back.

But yay, all 128 pages are done, I just need to letter them :D

I feel like I have the body of a 30/40 year old.
I'm in High School and today I through out my back before first period and was in incredible pain until 5th.
I feel like my body may be fighting against me.
Maybe because of the lack of sleep, bad diet, and a recent increase in physical activity.

I think this may be related to how I was really fat when I was in elementary school.

I'm still really fat and my body is as spry as ever!

Dude. I envy you.

Coloring up to 7 pages a night?
Ha. The most I've EVER got done, was 1. And that wasn't even a whole sit through. I had to get up, move around, check myspace, etc.

I don't know if it's because I have ADD or I'm just easily distracted. It happens with regular comic pages all the time.

But seriously, if I ever could get THAT much work done, it would be a miracle.

So congrats man! I'll have to check our your comic!

Rant:

I have not had any good workouts lately. It seems like I'm not trying hard enough, and just like, doing it the easy way. I seem to be cutting back a lot. I don't really know why. Yesterday, I believe it was because I worked out too early. Because I end up eating dinner before my workout, and I usually wait for my food to digest and stuff, so I don't like, puke and die and stuff. But yesterday, I didn't exactly wait…and well…I guess that could be why I got such a crappy workout.

It's all good though :D

So… A hard drive in one of my old comps started to fail. No problem in the failing, but that's the one with the OS on it, which is a PAIN.

All the important stuff is backed up on other drives and other machines, so no worries there. I just HATE reinstalling bloody XP. And it was SP1, so that means when I finally get XP going again I have to do all those freaking updates…
Problem number 1 right now is I installed bloody Windows on the wrong drive!!!!!

-The old 30 gig drive that I've got in there as a back-up one. I had it set to slave so I didn't even THINK to check which drive Windows would install to, I just assumed it'd be the bigger 200gig SATA drive… But maybe because SATA automatically do the master/slave crap it just made the stupid old, old IDE drive the master. I should've checked the assignments in the bios maybe when I took the other drive out, I dunno.

Anyway, that drive is about 7 years old, so if the newer drive already failed there's NO WAY I want to set the system up again on an even older, slower drive and have to go through that crap all over again any time soon when that one eventually fails.

So… that means reinstalling XP all over again on the bigger drive. Booooooring.

And then comes the marvellous pain of reinstalling all the old drivers, THEN all the damn Widows updates, THEN antivirus and all the damn programs and settings etc.

Oh geeezzzzzzzzz
At least I know what I'm doing, and it's not the main machine.

At least we don't have to waste time with pencils and paper any more. ;)

Rant: these green parakeets look nice but they make a godawful racket. The restrained tweeting of my English garden is being drowned out by their yobish yakking.

Bloody oiks. :(

You mean "Budgerigars" :P

I have no idea where they're native here… probably a rainforest in Queensland somewhere…?

But you see feral flocks of the tiny multicoloured pipsqueaks in the hot desert areas of the north west Kimberly region, all flitting together from tree to tree, every bird a different colour pattern. They're funny looking :)

I finally got my copy of CS4 and when I loaded it, the first thing my video card did was puke on it and call it a pile of shit. XD I know it's gotta be bad if my video card refuses to work with it. I wonder if Nvidia did that in the last update?

In other news, I think I may be able to get rid of my roommate and just move his stuff out. He hasn't shown his face in a couple weeks now after what I did to him and his girlfriend for breaking rule #1 of 2. ( If you're really that curious, go look at the college thread. I'm not retyping it. ) So yay for the possibility of extra space.

met a wild redhead girl at a bar
i saved her from a man looking lesbian (complete with facial hair) by pretending to be her bf ^_^

drank too much last night…
it didn't help any that we both know the owner of the bar and it was his birthday.

at least i got away with no hang over today
cook a big meal and drank plenty of water before sleeping.
although im tasting ciggarettes and liqour on the tip of my tongue.

I swear there is something wrong with my ear. For what must be two months now it gets a liquidy feeling and just feels… I dunno, wrong. I've been in to have it checked out and they say there's nothing going on in there. It really feels like there is water trapped up in there or something though, most of the time.

When it's really annoying I've tried sticking qtips in reeeeeeally carefully and sometimes that helps. It makes me nervous to do that though.

Does it feel a bit fluttery sometimes, and make you want to keep moving your jaw from side to side?

workin' on a comic, hoping to get it published. It has a moral and stuff like that but i doubt anybody under 18 would like it.

Ah well it's in my american comic style so maybe some small indie publisher will pick it up.

Heeere we go.
I finally feel a lot better about myself.
I worked out like, hardcore today. Needless to say, I'm sore.

I finally drew page 5, and am in the process of re-drawing page 4. Just a few minor mistakes, but since I am lacking a tablet, it's pretty much impossible to re-do.

And since I work traditionally…yeah, I'm sure you get the picture.

But everything is going smoothly, I wish I could draw more pages, but hey, what can you do?

I think I'm fully busy this weekend, hanging out with one of my senior friends like, Saturday, or Sunday, and my best friend tomorrow hopefully.

I'm closer to one of my chick friends I was going away from, I'm starting to get closer to again. She was a great friend of mine.
And a loooottttt of hot girls, are talking to me.
I mean, a lot.
It's a dream come true.

They should've started talking to me a long, long time ago.

Well, I couldn't sit through one page myself, but then I found out that listening to comics related podcasts keeps me distracted enough so that I can focus on the art (if that makes any sense). And it's good to make a short break every half hour, just so you can stretch your legs and back.

I'm dropping coloring on my next title though. Hope this means I'll be able to finish the art for all 60-80 pages in a space of two months, or maybe even one.

in other news…

My sleeping pattern is shot totally. Yesterday I went to bed at 6pm and got up at 10pm, then had a short 20-40 minute nap somewhere around the morning… and have been up… it's currently 2pm and I think I'll crash in the next half hour, heh.
