Not exactly 'brainwashing' though. More of motivating them. I can proudly say that I've motivated them to become SLACKERS!!!

If the company is obsessed in too much 'processing' and how to make things faster blabla this and that. While at the same time being very reluctant on giving employees their well-deserved vacation days.
It all boils down to greed. Greed that can cause people in my shift their jobs. Especially this muslim dude who has a wife (stay at home) and 3 kids.
If I was a selfish person, I wont be a slacker. I'd easily do the work of 4 people. Yes I can do it. I'd kiss ass to the boss and keep giving him ideas on how to speed up processing and cause people their jobs. Increasing my chances of promotion.
Thats how I'd do it if I was a greedy bastard.
Corporate greed.
You'd be surprised how money and power causes people to ignore the suffering of their fellow humans.
Look at all those homeless people in the streets.
For sure a good number of them are victims of corporate greed. Fat cat companies obsessed with down-sizing, out-sourcing, and re-structuring.
For the benefit of the few elite. The standard of living has to go down.

People on the Internet need to learn how to read, comprehend and then (and only then) reply.I know, it's sooo annoying… like when some guy said this:

Ooooh, so it was an ACCIDENTAL OD, which means that we should feel sad that someone died doing illicit drugs. Um, no. Shit ass drug user died doing shit ass drugs.About someone who seems to have died from an overdose of perfectly legal sleeping pills. Whoever that was really must not have been reading the news before they shot their mouth off… unless they know something CNN doesn't?
(of course, even if it turns out that he did die because of illicit drugs, that wouldn't justify jumping to the conclusion that he was a drug user before the evidence is in… does it?)

Today my glasses broke.
So I was late for meeting someone for something important, so the important thing didn't happen.
Because I was in a hurry when I noticed I was late, I forgot to get my keys.
When I went to get a spare one from the security office, they told my signatures didn't match, it turns out this was because my signature is usually an indecipherable scrawl and I was writing more carefully because, you guessed it, my glasses broke.
I had no I.D. because it was in my room with my key and broken glasses.
So I had to walk across campus to see the accommodation people to send them evidence that I was me.
So now I'm in my room, using the laptop which I really shouldn't be doing because my glasses are broken.
The fire alarms are being tested so they're going off and on every few minutes. This cannot be attributed to breaking my glasses, it's just really fucking annoying.
The moral of this story? Wear contact lenses.
That was really not needed. Am I supposed to like it when people make fun of me?

GODDAMMIT~!! i hatehatehateHATE my parents right now, no, even more than ever. I'm nineteen years old and stuck in the deepest pit of my life that they either A. are too stupid to see. B. made the pit themselves and are keeping it from me or C. are just too annoying to give a crap. NOW, that "pit" would be school and a job and driving and my attitude. I can't find a good job, they get pissed. Oh, exCUSE me for having bad school hours. I like to draw more than i like to do anything else. OH NO~!! we're wasting all this money on your school and you started off shaky~!! er yeah, jumping right into weird college classes kinda isn't my idea of fun…i tried my best? you don't try, you DO, you're so stupid~!! you fail you're DOOMED~!! quit drawing and doing fun stuff immediately and study all hours of the day and night~!!
you're doing nothing with your art, you're too stupid to get anywhere and the money we've got for you to go to school is running out. We'll just have to kick you out~ oh, and since you can't find a good job you can't get a car and you can't drive. I understand your situation.
However the times are changing. The corporations are getting greedier and greedier everyday. Dont expect to be able to find a job that will allow you to support yourself unless you're lucky. D
I suggest though that you take some vocational trade (automotive, plumbing, carpentry, etc) or be a truck driver. At least those things pay good money while investing a small amount of time and money unlike some 4 year university or college course that will only end you up working in burger king.
Or if you dont like the idea of trades since they are dirty, smelly, and too much manual work, try convincing your family that TIMES ARE CHANGING and that eventually you and 3 generations will be living under 1 roof.

Honestly. I don't understand.
I suggest you do your research. Start with reading the news and start asking yourself questions like:
- What is really going on?
- Is that the right news?
- Am I only being told what I need to know?
- Why is it going on?
- Who is responsible?
- How and why does x event relate to what I've seen in real life?
And many others. The who, the what, the when, the where, the how.
And then you formulate your hypothesis and draw your conclusion.
I read the broadsheet papers and I read the news online. The most logical and rational thing for a person to do when confronted with a piece of information is to confirm its validity, in the same way that when the scientific community is presented with a new hypothesis or idea, the first thing they will all immediately attempt to do is debunk it into the ground.
And that is exactly what I do.
I didn't ask you for a lecture on questioning the validity of information I am presented with by the media; I asked you what the hell 'massive awakening' is supposed to mean.
