I'm growing increasingly concerned with the number of DD peeps I see getting involved with that Rampage Network guy. Really.

I am intrigued. What's all this about then?

I don't want the guy stalking me further, so I'll just say he's been harassing me and several other users of my site because I've been warning people of that sort of behaviour from him (death/violent threats are a little unusual too). I've had to ban him from from all of my sites, and he's unfortunately taken to trolling my Livejournal now as well. I have logs and everything, but I have to keep them in a private forum (for my Scienteer group). Suffice to say he wouldn't be the kind of person I'd want hosting my comic.

Rampage sounds very familiar, and you say he's hosting comics too?

Mind if I ask who he is exactly, if only so I can get a better idea of what you're talking about?

Just remember the age-old advice: Don't feed the troll. Block him, shut him down, but don't feed it's humor. I've run into quite a few myself, and it's never fun that someone has that much time on their hands just to follow a guy on the freakin' internet. :/

Yes, unfortunately, several great comics are being hosted on his entirely !unfinished! website. Hell, navigation links don't even work and you have you look into the very HTML itself in order to see what each field of the contact form means!

The dude goes by borg494 or horatio, though he's not above getting new aliases to troll, last night he was using GreenMean.

Hopefully my new wordpress ban plug in will stop him from coming in, but that still leaves my LJ and possibly my dA under potential for further attacks, as well as countless other communities I am involved with.

Thanks for the heads up. Only one of those names rings a bell and I THINK he may have offered me hosting a while back, or someone did for him. If so I'm glad I didn't take it.

@HP

I have a stalker right now as well, She's freaking insane too. I went and deleted most of my old personal accounts since she seemed to know a lot about me.(despite saying she's never heard of me or my comic in her persistent long-winded messages)

It's funny because really; She only wants my attention. My acknowledgment. I never gave it to her(she's small fry) so she backed off. She still pops up like herpes when i least expect it though.

Oh and to double post here that rampage network is a great example of what not to do, the site theme is totally aimed at metal-head males. More like an emo blog than a webcomic host.

If we make a site the theme must be super user friendly yet appeal to males and females equally. (probably a light-green vista theme) And make it really obvious it's a user friendly place for getting into comics/making them. (probably add random user tips everywhere)

Template we used the last time was slightly flash based (for adverts which we decided we would use to feature comics and whatnot), white and green color scheme. Looked very sexy.

My rant: I still don't have a fucking job, and at this point I have close to no more God damn money. Rent is due fucking tomorrow and I'm not sure I'm going to make it into another lease. D:<

Fuck I mean this place is crawling with all kinds of stores, and not one is hiring?

It's amazing to think just how far I've come in the six months since I was crying and half-drunk on my back porch when she told me she cheated.

It's been a year and a half since my breakup and I still don't think I'm over it :/ So, good for you :)

My rant is that comic images aren't showing up on DD at the moment, and quite a few avatars as well…. At least the ones I'm looking at.

I'm a positive person and I love DD, but I'm loosing patience with the site now.

YAY, they're back! :)

The day started a little rough for me generally… but things seem to be looking up a bit now. Phew!

A guy who I thought was cool seems to have gone crazy, and he stole something from my best friend and owes another friend of mine a lot of money, god that guy pisses me off.

I'm getting really frustrated with one of my friends because he's been cutting himself and he's basically refusing to let us help him, it seems like the fact that we love him doesn't matter to him.

Gas prices around here are going up fast… this time it's gone up 10 cents from last week, when it also went up 10 cents.

The government tax guys are dragging their feet with the stimulus checks here too. Rumor has it that they're going to hold whatever money the can for as long as possible so they can earn a lot of interest on it. Worse, any stimulus money left over at the end of the year will be turned into tax credits. With the amount of time the local government takes to hand out tax refunds (two to ten years), a lot of people won't be geting their "stimulus" anytime soon…

I should stop ranting. I'm never good at it. :(

i already got tax stimulated.

sometimes i'm afraid people are stalking me. one time i was coming home from the mall, and this car just stayed right behind me. so i decided i was going to lose them. when i was about two miles from home, i just started making random turns. and the car kept following. i was like "holy crap it's not paranoia!" and this went on for about five minutes. then the car pulled into a drive way. apparently i just happend to randomly drive to that persons house. it was creepy in a one in a million sorta way.

also this storm is getting worse and i dont wanna go to bed.

oh, and my wife is coming back.

That's unusually prescient.
You're all I EVER laugh about.
Ever.

I have a crappy sense of humour. -_-

Ice water never tasted so good. It's freakin' hot over here.
And to top it off, whenever I get a headache (which is all the time), it hurts behind my left eye even more than my head does. Sometimes it feels like it could just…fall out.
Yeah. That makes sense.

I had to work an 8 hour shift tonight, now I have to go to sleep, work another 8 hours, then put on a stuffy suit for a family thingie. It doesn't sound that bad, but it's been like this almost the whole week, so I'm beat. Also, my left thumb won't stop hurting for some reason.

I swear, Only you two could make something as horrible as a stalker seem funny ;)

My pageviews are skyrocketing right now, i'd normally never complain about this, but i have no idea why.
I always worry it's somethin' weird…

@ Skullbie

Well, the last time any of my pageviews rocketed up, it was because I got into a fight with some blogger. In any case though, DD has no way to track individual malice short of bad comments, so I'd see the increase as a good thing.

so there I was, walking back from the bx (base exchange) when an f22's takes off. well it was cool…then I heard another one…so I flipped on my camera…well it got ready too late…then I hear another rev up. so I point my camera and shoot. took a second one as well. when I got back to my room I wanted to look at the pictures.but the f22's weren't in any photos.

also I've been breaking even at the casino's. so im getting bored. and I really can't see how that's addicting.

So that's what the government's been spending all our money on. Camera-invisibile planes!

Whoa… I knew we had advanced stealth tech on those planes!
