Anybody notice the 12 hour or so downtime we just had? or is the site really that quiet on the weekend?

Anyway, Volte fixed it for us like the champion of DD that he is. Unpaid too! Three cheers for Volte! :)

I can't find Mana Potions anywhere! Every place listed that is around me within a reasonable distance, they don't carry them at the moment. I refuse to pay the price they're asking for shipping from the website. Damn…had a cool idea for pictures and everything with them.

Those are cute, but for 50ml they are freakin' expensive, over $3 a bottle. That's more than the same amount of airline alcohol!

The nutritional facts are a little scary. Somehow I'm sure 6667% of RDA for vitamin b12 is unhealthy. (But hey, only 1600% of b6). Conveniently they don't tell you how much caffeine is in it… although it's part of the 'energy mix' of 2 grams. red bull has 80 milligrams of caffeine, that's .08 grams. Let's hope the caffeine in that isn't a majority of the 2 grams, that'd be about 25 red bulls. (Probably enough to kill a horse?)

I noticed. I get scared when it does that… (I downloaded my archive as soon as it came back. ^_^; )

Hooray for Volte!

If you're ever worried about the status of DD, go to the DD LJ page ^_^

Ugh. I have a cold. It's like, because of weather change or something. Especially on a Sunday, right before school tomorrow, sucks.

But it gave me the opportunity to draw fan-art all day. I did about 3 black and white pieces, and I'm happy! :D

Oh, and the girl that I just met, apparently her best friend, that is a guy, likes her already :( But it's okay. I'm used to it :\

The fact that I don't have a tablet anymore makes me angry. Trying to make Ryu's Krew without will be super hard. Maybe I'll have to get a Bamboo or something…

i hate stuff. in life. you know. those things. that are unexpected. join the military, support my wife and family. get an education, and a pension at the end of 20 years. what do i gotta do? just spend six months a year away from home. and now? it's even more inevitable. either spend six months straight, or six months total. and the best part? it's not my choice which i do!!

hooray!!. but yeah, i did bring this upon myself by enlisting in the middle of world turbulence. but yeah, i'll always be somewhere as long as i'm on this jet. thppppp.

My rant is, I spend so much of my time helping other people and being there when other people need me…but when *I* need someone or some help…you can hear the crickets chirping. Blargh. Maybe I just expect too much. /emo

I had been scared crapless to be honest. I just hate it when things like this happen with no advance warning. We should be warned of sudden problems in advance! :P

I gotta agree with you though: Yay for Volte, the secret champion of DD, even today! Seriously, I think we'd have all died without his help here. Well, I nearly did anyway, but you know what I mean….

I didn't notice, I was too busy watching a super awesome amazing cool mechanical giant spider stomp around Liverpool.

That said, fuck big crowds. If it's not an old lady trying to run people down with a pram, it's a drunken idiot trying to get through the crowd by ramming into people and hitting on my brother. The idiot was a guy, by the way. And then there was the prat behind me who kept pointing out what we were looking at, maybe he thought the rest of the crowd was blind (I wondered if he was with someone who was blind, but he wasn't)? And a lot of people started yelling at the guys driving it because they were taking too long to set it up. That last one is justified though, because all they had to do was abseil down the side of a fucking building and strap themselves in, all while upside down.

Despite all the irritating morons, it was definitely worth seeing. I'll see if I can some of the pictures my uncle took and put them up in the photo thread.

Dear God, I have the exact same problem. No one helps me when I need them, which doesn't really happen much since I pretty much know what to do in most cases.
I mean, no one took me seriously when I had a broken piece of dry (dry and pointy) nacho chip lodged in my throat throughout the entire lunch. I suppose I would've just sat still, too, since I don't like bringing attention to myself.
In other cases, no one wants to lend me a dollar when I need them.

I just can't seem to fit some time working on my comic or CG'ing my art at all now. School's pounding work on me now with AP classes and big tests coming up and getting prepared for them, reading stuff, writing a bunch of essays, thinking about how to tackle colleges, and all at the same time trying to find an opportunity to kick some stranger's ass on multiplayer.
Maybe I'm complaining over something so minimal, but it does tend to get on my nerves. I really should be using my tablet much more than I should be right now (To be honest, I use it like once a month now). Finish everything that I never bothered to finish, and stuff like that. And dear lords using Pen Tool takes forever to use, although it does give smooth lines.

The site was down over the weekends? I was sort of away so I really didn't notice, though I did notice that it failed to load when I tried to pop into DD, which I disregarded as crappy internet connection. Hoh boy.

Yah! I thought someone had hacked the site! It was kind of a drag waiting and worrying for the site to get back online, but I just sent up wishes that everyone had backed up their stuff and hoped for the best.

A previous forum site I used to spend a lot of time on is starting to really get on my nerves. There's one snotty chick there who keeps making fun of my comics even though she refuses to read them, repeatedly makes snotty posts to me and acts like she can't stand me and wants me to go away. She's not the mod. She can't draw.

And only one of my friends on the forum is sticking up for me, but she's been offline dealing with the loss of her mother in law. I am going to create an emote for the snotty chick that looks like someone giving the finger. If you insist on kicking a girl when she's down, don't act so bloody shocked if you get bitten in the leg.

Sorry to hear about your migrane, ozone. I used to have them myself years ago, and they can be really debilitating. Hope you're better soon.

Lookin' into me own domain, god there's so many options. And i've got to pick one good for webcomics,
http://bluecrashkit.com/cheese/9_web_host_listings_free_and_paid
Glad someone made a tut for it.

I figure i need to find something that will let dreamweaver do it's business, and then use 'cpanel' later. I have no clue what i'm talking about.

I was thinking of dreamhost, but now liquid host looks cool. Also i have to think of a name for the site…

And plus i've always wanted to have like 2 other yuri comickers working with me, like our 3 comics would be promoted together. And we'd invite bloggers and have a 'relationship' froum so the site could have other things besides comics.
I'll have to get really popular before anyone would want to join me, and even then i'd be mega picky who i chose. (good art, unique plot(not just yuri) and a hit level close to mine)
I think i could do it in 2 years or so

I wasn't scared crapless, but I was a bit upset and this is the kind of thing that I get obsessive about, so I tried to sign in about a zillion times.
I'm glad Volte fixed it. :)

Also, my rant is that I was supposed to have a party today for my best friend's birthday, but she ended up having to have dinner with her cousins and stuff. I stayed with her for it because she hates her family…after spending some time with them I kind of understand why. So we will have to have our party tomorrow instead.

So i decided on my new host, only problem is i didn't have enough money on my debit card to get it today- this sucks because i have the feeling someones going to buy the domain name i picked -_-
That's what happened a few months go- i searched for the name i'd picked and no one had it. Checked today and some fuckin domain eater had it. You know those shitty useless 'search' engines that they put there so you'd have to buy the domain.

It's expensive even with the promo code, i've pretty much got to sell out and start making merch and donation wallpapers. I was going to do this eventually but i didn't want too so soon
I've got some pretty damn sweet poster and keychain designs though.

I really should be doing my math homework right now -___- This comic is my joy and my curse
Edit: i've been a little potty mouth lately, the hell

That happened to me a few weeks ago as well. :[ Had to buy one with a hyphen in it, instead.

You can buy a domain name without hosting if you're really worried about it. GoDaddy only charges $8 for a year of a .com I think. You can go back into the account later and give it the hosting info.

I think the trick there is the searching…
Don't even do it unless you're ready to buy on that day, because people eat up domain names BECAUSE they see that they've been searched for.

Hmm, good excuse to keep getting drunk. ;)
