This may be my ultimate return to webcomics.

(loljk, not ultimate at all)

For those who remember and or care, I stopped coming to DD (for a few months away) back in like, September or November of last year. Because I stopped updating my main comic (Ryu's Krew) and really wasn't into reading webcomics anymore for some strange reason.

And throughout the time of my disappearance I've been working on the first Volume to Ryu's Krew. The first few months were spent taking notes and re-working the story so it would be good. Since then I have developed a system of writing (it's pretty much what everybody does already, sort of) that worked for me.

And now that I'm maybe 1/3 or so of the way done with the first chapter, I was thinking..If I plan on selling this, who do I expect to buy it? I wouldn't buy a graphic novel from an artist I've never heard of. Unless the art was truly amazing to me, or if someone had recommended it to me or whatever.

/tl;dr: I'm coming back to DD and starting to update starting probably Tuesday.

It's nice to be back, guys. It's nice to be back.

Yeah. I see a lot of others have left ;(

Thankfully, I've gotten a little bit better at art since I last uploaded anything.

Still need to work on my photoshop skills.
which I'm doing right now ;D

I justspent an entire weak with my big brother, there were all kinds of festivities in a city called Nijmegen, I don't know if anyone has ever heard of it but it is pretty lame. anyways, there were some bars and stuff that DID manage to be to my liking.

I'm gonna make a comic about that week. It was the perfect mixture of feeling like a social outcast, being drunk, bonding with my brother, enjoying the sunshine and having adventures.

Epic dream.
You HAVE to make this into a movie.

to be honest I think it would probably make a sucky movie.. or at least it'd be a B-movie.

you see, the storyline in my dream was kind of very choppy…. it would haphazardly time skip ahead without any warning about the time change. So if it was a movie, then people would be very confused about all the time skips, since there was no smooth transition at all.

The movie would have to take very creative liberties to work around the time skips thing in order to be a good movie.

Meh. I would, but since I'm just starting out with webcomics again, I feel I should come back to the place I started. And anyway, I don't have any fancy layout stuff, because it all got deleted. So if I did do any sort of website in the future, I'd probably have to hire someone.

Plus. I like DD. It's nice here. The air is fresh, and the grass is rather green.

That is, until the Aliens came looking to colonize the planet, and the zombie problem started all over again….
How did the zombie problem start again? Did the singer start biting the aliens, thus infecting them with the zombie plague?

Heh. Zombie aliens. I don't think I've ever seen that mix before (which is unique since I've probably seen every other mixture of monsters under the sun).

I'm about ready to give up on my current big project. I stopped making Last Words two years ago to begin working on it and so far I'm not even done writing the first chapter, which is probably going to be the shortest of about 7. Two damn years. It's been this long, spending almost every spare second I have on it (anywhere between 30 min and 6 hours a day. ) and I'm not even past the first chapter. I just keep rewriting it, because every time I go back and begin editing it, I realize it's not quite right and begin rewriting and reorganizing the entire thing. It's not getting the message I want across. Despite knowing this was going to be a problem from the start because of the nature of the story I'm trying to write, I never expected it would even be possible for me to wind up with this little of it complete.

That's not a zombiefied space alien. That's an interdimensional parasite from beyond Xen that is using human remains as its host.

Sheesh, it so simple.

Actually, it's a Headcrab. They do behave sort of like zombies though.

I'm sorry but I kinda want to facepalm so hard right now, because I thought I managed to clearly describe the creature enough to imply that I knew what a headcrap is.

Headcraps are from another dimention that is beyond Xen. They are parasites that kill people and use their remains as a host.

I was trying to relay sarcasm but apparently I failed.

I'm back from camping.

It was a traumatic experience to say the least.

In the sum total of 2 days, I…

Have cuts all over my back
Slept in mud
Walked into a stall which a fat kid forgot to lock and saw him number 2.
and more!

Also, I got the script for this collaboration thing between Joey and I. Yeaaaaah.

It didn't kill you, so it only made you stronger! NOTHING CAN HURT YOU NOW.

Oh wait, I thought you said Xenu.

I guess scientologists are zombie-like too though.

So there I was, at the gym, doing my somewhat regular upper body workout. I had just got done doing my last set of dumb-bell bench press, which I set a new record on. My adrenaline was pumping, and I got a little cocky.

I worked my way up to the lat-pull down machine and I wanted to switch out the long bar for this v-shaped bar, because it's easier for me to grip and I can usually get more weight on it. So I went to switch it out, and noticed it was a bit too high for me, but I managed to get the long bar off. I grabbed for the v-bar, and as I put it on, I accidentally pinched my thumb, thus causing it to bleed rather profusely.

Long story short, I cut my thumb at the gym. And whilst wearing a band-aid, only managed to do shoulder press after that ;(

Also, it was my left hand. Which is the hand I draw with. I really hope I can at least finish working on this page that I'm almost done with.

These people who get a hard-on to protect children at all random hours after business hours should be shot. They had all day to get their shit together, have known about the situation for MONTHS, but they wait till after I pull into my driveway to hit up the emergency hot-line.

I spent four straight hours on my day off applying for a single job. I like to think there will be a great payoff of, well, getting the job, but deep down, I know it was just four hours I wasted.

True dat although once they find themselves in courtrooms or Oprah shows, all hell breaks loose.

Yeah, she did bite them. it was like at first she was overjoyed at company and weren't so dangerous to them for a while…. but then that pesky hunger started up again. :p

It was like once she knew there was life on other planets and stuff, that zombie virus was making her find a way to go to other planets in order to feed all all over again…. once she was finished with the colonizing aliens.

At any rate, it sounds like the plot for a B-movie doesn't it?

That's what rewrites are for. or if you don't want to change anything, after every odd break, have the Robot Chicken M Night pop in and say "What a tweest!"

Late night hotel tv…backdraft is a stupid film.

The people next to me are morons with tiny savage fighting dogs…

There are gigantic American flags everywhere in this city. GIANT flags. Out the front of every single business in places. Does any other country do that?

I'm still excited about doing more comic stuff after the con… and having a table there next year.
