Followed the link. That was an excellent story, Croi. Sadly, I can believe someone to have been that self indulgently insane. And I'm doubly thankful I wasn't in your place when that went down. Good lord. Hospital grade food poisoning AND a psycho twinkie? Guh.

I'm way ahead in updating which feels good though the upload system still throws me off the site and sometimes freezes my browser window. I just close the window and move on.

You know it's been a decent summer. I got the DVD of my favorite movie and it felt like I was seeing it for the first time. Crazy! I mean like so many positive waves maybe we can't lose!

So there's apparently no hope for my laptop, but i don't know if i believe it. I'm still hitting myself for taking it to geek squad(they have a bad attitude and are liars) but i'm not spending 600$ to fix a 800$ computer those con men apparently bought off ebay(no really, he said that's where they get them).

I'm very frustrated right now. I'm sure the hell not buying my laptop or anything else at best buy. Everything i've bought from them has shorted out months after the warranty was up, i know they research how long the product lasts too.

Ugh -____- I've had my emachines desktop for 7 years now and have been brutal to it, and it runs fine. (course now that i said that it'll burst into flames). I think i'll try to find an emachines laptop if they still make them.

Greetings mortals. I am Superman. I am resilient to your earthly drugs. Valium in its highest dose was but a mere joke to my super senses. It had no effect whatsoever! Guess its back to 30mg of kryptonite every day. Whats that? I think I hear a bus full of school children falling off a cliff, I'll be right back-

Weeee!
I go home tomorrow. Back to life, Australia, work and decent internet access!

Went to a Goth dance club in Santa Anna, or Santa Clara or something… had a lovely time! What a great friendly bunch of people! Such nice, happy, open friendly people. ^_^

So yeah. Last night. Then forever on an aeroplane.

Believe it or not, I've been to "Bar A" *LOL* I'm not Italian enough to fit in, but I still out drank all the younger people thanks to being at sea level

i ate sooo much pizza last night.i don't know why, but i know i'll regret it in about half an hour when i start my run.

also, wednesday night, i had a dream that a C-17 crashed. It was here in nebraska…and it was right after take off… in my dream it looked like the b-52 crash from fairchild in the 90's. only from a slightly higher altitude…there was a huge explosion and everything.

I woke up and went to work. when i finished work we were all sitting around, and someone brought up that a C-17 crashed wednesday night in alaska. while i was sleeping. however, i think the dream came much later than that.

Came back from a trip today. Booted up my computer and found out my tablet(a Wacom Bamboo Fun) isn't working at all. The stupid blue light doesn't even turn on. Been unplugging it, resetting it, and rebooting my computer to no avail. Don't know what to do now. I sure as heck can't afford a new one if it's crapped out on me.

Edit: My dad fixed it. Well, sort of. The minute he touched it, it decided to start working again. -_-

Today seemed very long. I didn't do any comic things but I did work at my other job (Steak N Shake) and my daughter worked there too. Now, bed. I'm beat.

That's what dads do. We are like the Jesuses of small broken mechanical and electrical items. Sometimes the laying on of hands is all it takes.

One thing I can't stand about Santa Clara, all the God damn vampires.

Yep. Exit 128.

That means you're only eleven miles away as the Parkway rolls. I'm 117.

I learned the hard way to eat before I go to the gym, especially some sort of big meal (or at least something medium-ish) packed with carbs and protein. Because if you try to lift heavy while going on…say…a bowl of brown rice, you won't get crap.

I'm merely saying this because I've tested it before. It should've been common sense to me, but apparently not. With that said, I hope I can get pretty good lifts today, because I just had quite a lot of carbs (decent-sized chunk of homemade bread, 2 cans of ravioli, and milk).

And I really should work on scripting later. I'd like to know how many more pages I have to go until the end of the chapter, and I might work on penciling or something too.

Actually it's not working again. :(

Edit: No wait, it is. This thing is driving me crazy.

Gah, I am insane…

Right now, rather than working on the next short comic, I am sitting here brainstorming a HUGE project (the one that I can't get off the ground for the last two years or so, heh).

Current mode of thinking:
1) do all the necessary designs, write stuff, draw it etc.
1) get a domain and a lot of server space.
2) update biweekly with full chapters.
3) each chapter 20 pages.
4) collect 12 chapters in a book (240 pages) and sell it for 10$ online.
5) ???*
6) profit!

*stands for some form of promotion to make sales happen.

But I think I need to squeeze one more shorter project in there before I tackle this monster. And maybe do second issues of my sketchbooks so that it doesn't look like I start projects and never finish them, heh.

I really want to give an emotional, stupid, overdramatic rant right now but I don't feel like it.
Nonsense.

Crappy weekend so far being that I've felt like crap and some stuff has gone down that would go into a rant if I was up to doing that but who cares, right?

But the positives are that I am really liked as an actor by my really experienced acting teacher and her even more experienced husband, have begun to get all my projects into the success zone, and have a band that is going to make our own songs and not fail like all my other projects.

Gonna get another credit card. I weighed my options of a loan and upping my limit on the current card and this is the cheapest. There's one with no interest for 6 months so i figure charge the laptop on that and pay it off, then cut up the card when it's all done.

Well i hope that's how it all goes. If i do my current card that has interst the monthly bill will be hard to keep up with -.- Ah well off to research

They're some of the best people ^^

Back all the way around the other side of the earth now!
Watched a bunch of films I would never have watched otherwise on the flights… (Hot Tub Time Machine, kick ass, Iron man 2, Ghost writer etc…)
I am So frelling tried! Gahhhhh!!!!! Happy to be back home though… but I still look forward to next year's comic con when I vow to exhibit!
…the American public must not allowed to be deprived of my talent. It's just too unfair to them because they're all such lovely people :)

-One stupid thing I recall from the con:
One night I was watching late night TV and there was this talkshow host Jimmy Kimmel doing a bit on it in his monologue, talking about how some Harry Potter T-shirted dick stabbed another guy with a pen and about how people who went to the con were all nerds and virgins etc. The funniest thing about that was that Kimmel is actually the emperor of ALL nerds everywhere and his material is about 20 years out of date.
Seriously, he is a massive dork.

And One big thing I noticed at the con was that it's only about 30% comics (if that) and the "nerd" population is the minority, you can spot them by their massive backpacks with posters sticking out of them.

…People with giant back backs in heavily crowded situations… :gem:

i think my marriage is ending. of course i say this every 3 months… so who knows.
————-

I ran quite well on friday despite my pizza overeating. I ran faster than Col. Oldguy. (that's not his real name, that's just what i started calling him when i first started going to the gym everymorning.) however, in order to pass him, i had to sprint the last stretch of the track (about .15 miles) and when i finished, (not in record time tho) i took two deep breathes, and heaved. i decided instead of heading for the door, i'd head to the trashcan, but didn't make it.i threw up in my hands, and had to clean up from the track to the trash can….then i had to waste precious water rinsing out my mouth.
——————–

I was supposed to run a triathlon this morning. but instead, i dropped it to pick up on my past scores. and i…i regret it. I really only have one other regret ever (two, but i apologized for one, and it's no longer a bother) so this is making me feel pretty heavy, i even had an alarm set, that i forgot about..

I still don't understand why they don't split Comic Con up. Maybe like a Movie-Con, and a Videogame-Con.

I know. I suppose it makes more money that way…?
The Video game, movie, and TV stuff was huge! My fave part was the independent comics, web comics and the artists.

The webcomic section was minute and dominated by the big ones.
