Ahh… it was so much fun going in to Anarchy Online and slaughtering fields of Leet. So cute, so small, so… easy to shoot at my level! I guess I'm enjoying myself too much slaughtering the numerous vermin of Rubi Ka instead of getting my missions from a terminal or flying around on my hoverbike. :)

haha hauahahahahahha.
ROFL
flashback ? wut year is this 2001 ?

actually i downloaded it and created an account just so i could go back to Newland and look around. ahhh that game was the inspiration for a lot of the world of GRIND. seeing it now is like going back to the charred ruins of my bombed out preschool.

I still play the game now and then. I hope this Froob thing lasts. Paid for the paidpoints just so I could have the ability to buy hoverbikes for my characters. One thing I do wish for… a sequel to this game. :)

Me and my parents tore through the shed looking for my old pokemon cards. I didn't find them(or my first series transformers) but i found all the old VHS's of the series and the old comics :) I'm reading the comics now, i loved them as a kid and it's great to see they're well made even now. Toshiro ono is freaking awesome.

I wanna make a short fan comic now since i have some outside motivation to do it.

oh. hai der.

Remember a couple days or last week back? you know when i said that getting a physical could be pretty bad, but i had faith in the system trying to save money by expediting?
not happening. i now have to go and get a thorough flight physical. one that i already have. instead of just doing the necessary items i don't have. I must now do both. and i'm dead last on the waiting list. and once it does come, i got 6-8 weeks for it to be official. nice huh?

Wait, wasn't Flashback from 1992? :)

Speaking of games, I just went through a 109 youtube videos of some guy going through the entirety of Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines as a Malkavian (for those uninformed, Malkavians are the lunatic vampires. They're pretty much insane and hear voices whispering to them with hints on the secret nature of things, and have a funny speech pattern). He even went for the same ending (or endings rather) that I did, and the only major differences were he chose a male character (I chose female) and he was a lot smarter with spreading the experience points around.

Vampire was the ONLY pc rpg that I enjoyed enough to finish (despite a billion zillion bugs). I liked the setting (based on the whole Dark World/Vampire the Masquerade thing), the music (Chiasm, Ministry, Genitorturers, etc.), the first/third person hybrid thing (I recognize the fact that Melee couldn't be done well in first person), the atmosphere (dark and gloomy, the world around you seems to sit on the edge of apocalypse), the setting (santa monica/downtown los angeles/hollywood/chinatown), the characters AND their voice acting (the guy doing voice for Bender voicing Smiling Jack; pretty much eveyrone sounds fine, none of that super cheesy over the top voices I found so irritating in many games)… and finally, it's NOT hack'n'slash. The game is actually rewarding you with extra experience points for going around and killing the least people! Seriously! You do NOT have to plow through hordes upon hordes of mindless enemy drones in a left mouse button orgy just so you can buy a new pair of pants! While there are places that you need to cut your way through, in most cases sneaking by will give you couple points extra.
Ahh, if only the game wasn't so full of bugs.

Funny scene. At one point in the game a woman recognizes you and goes "oh my god, we thought you were dead!". Well, since you have to stay secret to the world, you have to either kill her OR convince her you're not the person she thinks you are. As a Malkavian though, you can use your Dementia skill on ehr and convince her that you're her pet turtle she had as a child.
Her reaction: "Shelly? Holy crap, you've gotten big. Sorry I flushed you, I thought you were dead." :D

In other news. It's 2:30am and I am tired, should go to sleep.

Oh gods… D:
I don't like that usage. "Pant", "underpant", "short"…
Underpants, pants, and shorts are singular, but can be plural as well, there is no need to go and invent fake singular versions. I hate that. I Hate the idiots who know nothing about clothes that edit clothing catalogues and fashion magazines that have invented those usages so they can sound like even bigger pricks than they already are. >:|

GRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

That's exactly it! I think the aim is to make them sound more intelligent/knowledgeable about their field, haha!
It's the clothing catalogue equivalent of the office buzzwords and phrases that nobody uses in the real world, because they lack Synergy and Blue Sky Thinking.

We could create a thread for classic examples of this in many fields, but since lots of people here haven't entered the workplace yet, they probably still have optimism. I'd hate be be the one to squash it. Actually, it's already too late bicbw hhokpitrtul.

So I have to write a speech for French class. We do this every year…last year I threw one together about John Lennon, the year before that I did it on the whole "Paul is Dead" thing, which was pretty fun. It can be basically about anything, as long as it's more or less appropriate for school. But I'm kinda stumped!
Any ideas?

We need to workshop it. :)
Then go replace all business school teachers with Teletubbies. That should give us more practical business jargon ^_^
Any ideas?

So, another snow day tomorrow. There's seriously an insane amount of snow outside right now. It hasn't snowed this much since I was two, lol.

Maybe you can do a speech about french culture… where it was, and where it's likely to go now. Just an idea, though… :)

Filed my taxes today with a smile… For the first time in a decade, I don't have to pay any taxes. Instead I've got a refund… of $23. I doubt I'll have it good next year, though. T_T

I quote you.

Me and my parents tore through the shed looking for my old pokemon cards.
I have a crate of Yugioh cards. I always found it to be a more amusing game than Pokemon. Until GX that is…was…

Annie tryouts were today and I may get a god part. They liked me (who doesn't?). I used the song "Like Snape" from the Potter Puppet Pals : Yule Ball and the monolouge "Giant Oak Tree", found on "monoulougeblogger.com".
I wrote a sonnet. I HATE SHAKESPEARE AND I HAVE GOOD REASON TO.
Yesterday was a snow day. I made a snowball that was 5 feet tall.
I have almost beat all of Pokemon Sapphire. (one more gym and the elite "sh*t")
My acne's being a B*TCH this week. A real B*TCH.
I have actually updated a comic! OoO…
I have run out of things to rant about.

I stopped making Last Words over a year ago in August of 2008, yet somehow the chicles still dominate my work. Every time I get a client, regardless of whether or not I've included Last Words as a part of my portfolio, they find it and immediately ask one of two questions, "why do you charge so much if you only draw cartoons?" or "Oh! They're so adorable! Will you use them for this piece?/Can you make them my mascot?" They invariably get something along the lines of, "Because I still have to spend a lot of time drawing them and that's not what I do any more." or "if it fits the project, which seeing as how you're starting an attack-dog-nunchuck company, I doubt it."

It's getting to the point that part of me regrets ever making the strip, having it featured or having it become even as semi-popular as it did. But I refuse to take it down, because it is a part of the history I have as an illustrator. I just want to be able to move on stylistically and conceptually. I don't do the same work I used to, and I'm kind of tired of being branded by something I did almost three years ago. Maybe I should just start a new comic in the style I work in now so they might find that first.

Wow, I have off again tomorrow. Normally my school's really cheap when it comes to snow, but they really pulled out all the stops this time. SIX DAY WEEKEND, WHATEVER.

Birthday on Wednesday. I've already resigned myself as being 16, so the actual turning isn't as exciting. :/

There are some nights when I'm too scared to sleep, lest a guy with white and red makeup and funny clothes will break into my house and consume me… O_O

At least you're used to snow. I'm down in Louisiana right now and it's supposed to snow Friday (it NEVER snows down here). Plus they're saying it's going to be around 40-45 degrees throughout most of next week. Mardi Gras is going to suck this year!

Enjoy it while you can. Once you turn twenty-one, people stop buying you stuff and birthdays pretty much become meaningless (other than as an excuse to go out and get drunk at least, which in itself isn't all too bad).

Yeah, I worry about that sometimes too.

Safest bet is to leave some crumpled scarves out. If there's scarves to iron, I'll usually just leave them in a neat pile by the bed and go. Usually. :O

I have to spend all next week painting a bedroom, when all I wanted to do was finish painting my next comic page - frustrating. There's not much to do so I might be able to find some time in the early hours. I just hate to lose the flow when I'm on a roll (If you can call one a month a roll).

Oh well, at least I promoted some of my new art instead.

ditto, minus alternative promotion :p

Sorry guys, it has to do with the server move. They're trying to turn the old server off, but apparently something is still linking to it and turning off the old server shuts the whole place down. They've been spending the last few hours on it trying to figure out where the problem is.
