1337- sometimes the most intersting things in life are the things you dont KNOW are happening around you. these days, you know the odds of living in the same neighborhood as a killer or large carnivorous sewer mutant?

Well my neighbor is a psychotic 80 year old man with a gun…and planes keep flying over my house creeping the f*ck out of me cause I live nowhere near an airport. I would use it for some type of story (I like to do that with my dreams and events in my life) but guess what? No one would care and it's very typical…I just need to write…and how does that relate? I do not know.

(I do not plan my responses, this is how I think. Thanks you and goodnight!-I hope…)

Number tends to be about half the gender. 50% of guys are stupid enough to assume that if theyre friendly theyre interested. The other half either dont want to do anything about it, have a girlfriend and know that its only being friendly because they know that friendliness isnt secretly saying im interested or arent stupid and can figure that out for themselves. To be fair i know a guy thats overly like that. He follows the girls around college and says he doesnt like being around guys. Thats just a clever farce so theyre all like "Garth doesnt like guys being around him." And because theyre kind to him in his head he thinks he has a chance with every one of them. This guy has pictures of a sheep on his phone. He shows it to everyone and he doesnt even say anything when he shows you it. Its just more or less him shoving the phone in your face. He also prints off pictures from the girls myspace and what not infront of them to bring home. I dont wanna know what he does with them ~_~. Anyway. Yeah it tends to be the thick guys that are like that. Most of the time its lucky to even see them taking their eyes away from the boobies.

Being over protective of my girlfriend (And failed fucking misserably in the first place) I seem to have a sense of when someone thinks shes interested in them. Then i show up and theyre like. Oh.. who are you? And im like she just said hello. Stop being a faggot.

That concludes my rant also.

I'd agree with same, but some girls do tend to act semi-flirty on a normal basis. It's usually stuff like a girl's stance that cues a guy in. Legs apart and straight up usually means nothing, but if you're leaning in and laughing at a lot of their jokes, most guys take that as being somewhere between friendly and flirty. That sort of stuff can be hard to tell the difference sometimes, especially for guys who aren't experienced with making moves, ie; nerds, geeks, etc. Of course, boobs are another thing IMO. Even guys who know you're not interested and know they're seriously deep in the friend pool will still have a hard time not glancing down once in a while.

In a sort of the same vein, I seem to attract border-line psychopaths and people with checkered pasts like flypaper in a garbage dump. And they all want to tell me their story. Kind of seems like it might make for a decent story if I approached it right. Not like fish-out-of-water, but more like "person coping with awkward knowledge/trying not to be dragged down into themselves". It's kind of a mundane subject, but I think it's doable if handled right. Either that or a twisted human interest column in the local paper.

Can't wait until Wednesday, hopefully we will have a snow day and it won't be a big lie. Some people think we might even get off on Thursday too, which is really rare here in PA. Not sure where all this snow's going to go once it stops…

Ugh, I hate that. Especially after they try to make a move and you're like nnooooo thank you. Than the relationship is never quite the same. :/

yeah. i can tell you i had a problem with that…. there was one situation i was in, where there were literally 4 girls all doing the same gestures, and flirts and etc…only 1 of them was interested….my head about esploded…and i felt really dumb when the first three turned me down…

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. I think it's pretty much the same for both sexes, depending if the one thinking the other person is interested in them also feels attracted to that person.

There's always confusion on all sides of the equation.

Ugh, busy week. And I want to play my game, do my art, work on my websites, and work on my clothing projects, but there's mooooore to do T_T

Always new stuff in the help forum here recently and now I have more DD work to do.
I'm so tired.

It's best not to think about if a girl is interested in you when she talks to you. I tend to make conversation at work with anyone, girl or otherwise (though I find it more enjoyable to talk to women). I figure if she's interested enough in me she'd find a way to knock me unconcious then drag me to the Justice of the Peace… :)

I really doubt it, girls can just kind of tell. And i never hear complaints from guys about girls coming onto them when they were just trying to be friends-it's always the other way around.

I wasn't trying to be flirty with this guy from school, i can't think of anything i did that was flirty either. Man i should just stick to making friends with girls, then curse myself if i fall for them lol. At least Lonne has a good head on his shoulders.

Maybe guys just don't mention it much to you? It's happened to me quite a bit. It's happened to friends. etc. Men are more flattered than annoyed or alarmed at the attention though (most of the time). That's probably the difference. :)

It even happens to those who prefer the same sex- male or female.

Guys aren't concerned by this because a) we're flattered not threatened as Ozone said and b) we're emotionally dead. The eyes may be moving and we may appear to be listening, but there's nobody home!

actually there was one time, that there was a beast of a woman, that liked me, and she kept coming on to me….i was afeared because she was twice my size and was like "me like you, hold hand nao" and she kept trying to hold my hand. if she was a dude, i woulda punched her in the face, but i'm all polite and proper. and told her that i wasn't into her more than friends…

that stopped her for about 4 minutes.

By the way, what counts as smart casual? Can a collared shirt, jumper and jeans suffice?

Hmmm…jeans can be a bit iffy for smart casual - some people wouldn't include 'em. To be on the safe side go for a nice casual slack: some khaki dockers perhaps, or a checked golfing pant?

Ahh… it was so much fun going in to Anarchy Online and slaughtering fields of Leet. So cute, so small, so… easy to shoot at my level! I guess I'm enjoying myself too much slaughtering the numerous vermin of Rubi Ka instead of getting my missions from a terminal or flying around on my hoverbike. :)

Damn. Them's some nice trousers. They'd go well with a pair of chuck taylors, and an argyle sweater vest over a t-shirt. Though the golf shoes really do look quite dashing in a skankin' sort of way.

I'm incredibly glad my last class was cancelled. We've had over 1.5 ft of snow since 4 this morning and I spent the greater portion of my day outside clearing it from the campus. I've been inside for 3 hours and I still feel cold, and I'm never cold.

Got Mad Men season 1 for my birthday a week early, since my parents and I are taking advantage of the snow day tomorrow. Just watched the first three episodes with them and am wishing I could tell an awesome story like that. <3

Oh gods… D:
I don't like that usage. "Pant", "underpant", "short"…
Underpants, pants, and shorts are singular, but can be plural as well, there is no need to go and invent fake singular versions. I hate that. I Hate the idiots who know nothing about clothes that edit clothing catalogues and fashion magazines that have invented those usages so they can sound like even bigger pricks than they already are. >:|

Kudos to you for your facetious parody of just that sort of thing though. :)

Those look like a pair of trews.
I have so many pairs of damn vintage trousers clogging up my wardrobes now. Old woollen trousers smell funky :\

i'm feeling like ass right about now…

i blame the fact that it's sooo dry in this house…my throat is dry. my nose is dry…my mouth is dry…the walls absorb what ever water i have in my skin when i brush against them… now that my bank account/budget is finally balanced, i might go out and splurge on a humidifier. this has been the worst house to live in yet.
