I'm a terrible person. I now realize all this time people have just been putting up with me, being polite, but I see now that I truly suck. I just can't stop, it's horrible. I feel stressed, tired, upset, I think I'm going to cry. And the worst part is I have two little brothers that look up to me all the time, so i guess I'll put on a smile for them. Man, I can't believe all this time, I was being such a F—.

Whaaaaat when did that happen? Man, some people are nice just because they are nice, not because they are putting up with things. If people are just "putting up with" you then they're not worth worrying about anyway.

If it's people on the internet, who cares what they think?

And if it's people in real life, who cares what they think? :]

Best thing you ever learn in your life, don't care what people think. Be happy and you will be cool with stuff.

Yeah, if it's people on the internet (I'm probably one of 'em if it is) then what do you care… We're all idiots!

People in real life can be douches too, I was real annoying in primary school, I've been bullied and shunned by people up to college because of that. About being a terrible person:
Everybody needs to find who they really are, if you really think you're awfull then there's one thing you could do. Change.

Now take a deep breath, think everything through and decide the best course of action, if apologizing is needed, apologize. If it's just sleep deprevation that's making you feel this way, sleep.

Anyway, best of luck, tell us when you're happy!

K

I think I just need some rest, thanks for the advice. And yes, I get about 4 hours of sleep on average, I'll try and get more rest. Thanks, I'll tell you when I'm feeling good again.

It has occurred to me that my life is becoming a sea of inanity. I have so many distractions, from the ex-girlfriend who I'm polite and talk to to only because I don't really want to be a dick and tell her I really don't give a shit, to constantly reading articles on blogs that I never get a hell of a lot done. I really don't even care about half the shit I read like Questionable content, but I keep reading it just because I've developed a habit. Thinking about it, I've realized that things like serialized comics, MMO video games and drugs are all pretty much the same. You build up a rewards system kind of like a Skinner box. You don't get an emotional pay off with every page, or a new item with every enemy, but you keep at it because there's that one time out of ten you do get something and you feel rewarded. Just like a rat pressing a lever to get at a pellet. So you keep doing it, even though the comic has started to bore the shit out of you, because it might get interesting again soon, but only maybe. So you end up spending hours of your day, doing this stuff, like reading that crappy comic whose plot long ago jumped the shark, checking facebook for new messages from someone you have no interest in any more, or trying to level up for some item or upgrade that's not even tangible, because you've been doing it, and you might get something out of it in the future, even if it's nothing more than a feeling of accomplishment for having spent time on something. Somewhere, in the process though it seems inevitable that you start to forget thinking about if you actually need it, or even if you want to do it. You just keep doing it, and it becomes almost a mindless cycle where you really don't need to think about it any more.

In my case, I just had the startling realization that most of the comics I read don't entertain me any more. I just keep reading them because I already do, and I want to know what happens next, hoping for a pay off that's probably not coming because if the author ever did give you the total payoff and end the story by tying it all up, he'd be out a job. So long story short, I think I might stop reading webcomics and other serialized stuff, because it just feels like an empty usage of my already limited time. I could be spending my time better thinking or writing or doing something that changes things up instead of doing the mix, pour, repeat routine.

I've played guitar for longer than you would care to remember, but I never thought of a guitar as a person, you know, like some guitar players will call their guitar Lucinda and ascribe all kinds of female attributes to it - well I never got that.

Recently though, I agreed to play bass guitar because there was nobody else to play it: it wasn't meant to be a serious thing, just a stand in to help out a friend. So I show up and they introduce me to her; well I didn't give her a second look at first, it was just business and not the kind I would usually welcome. I held her awkwardly and the music began.

I don't remember much after that. The music, the laughter, the evening took flight, our feet never touched the ground and together we never missed a beat. Her strong yet supple strings seemed to guide my fingers in rhythmic abandon, her neck, long and slender, received each note as a tonal kiss. And yet I sensed a sadness within her; a loneliness bourne of ill use and neglect: too many nights spent plying her trade in tawdry bars, too many calloused hands roughly mocking her bruised body.

She's safe now. She will never suffer the indignities of poor intonation and cheap strings again. Those bastards left her to die in a skip for gods sake. They won't hurt her anymore. She'll be what she always wanted to be and I will love her always. My beautiful Lucinda.

I hate these theology interview things. This time I had to interview my parents on their marriage since they've been married for 22 years on the 26th. They had no problem making it awkward.

Me: "Okay, Number 6: what about your spouse makes you smile?"
Dad: "Can it be something sexual?"

Yet somehow, he was able to relate everything back to God in the end, like he usually does. At least my mom was good at answering questions, lol. Those two! *Track laughter*

I made a movie for the art and films festival at my school, to find out later that they canceled the "film" part of it.

Just got out of the shower and my hair already smells like fucking smoke. The more i think about it, the more i hate smokers. Most of them aren't even getting a buzz they're just doing it so they don't feel like shit. Who the hell pays 5-6$ for a pack of sticks that make you;
a)smell like ass
b)give you a crapload of health defects
c)get you so addicted you need the damn things
d)make your kids smell like you/ass

…oh well, on the bright side i will never ever smoke so thanks parents.

So we all agree that smoking sucks. Oh, got an update. We still are doing the movie, just not for the arts and film festival. And two things I dislike, since this is what this thread is for, right? Alright, one is romantic fan-fics, I try to look up an old episode of Spongebob for my little 9 year old brother, and instead I find a strange video which is just a slideshow of Sponge + Squirrel fanart. I felt very unhappy, because then I had to wait for hours until the right episode came on, THEN had to record it. Romantic fanfics are clogging up the internet! Especially Sonic The Hedgehog fan-fics, those make up for about half the information on the internet. But hey, my little brother Harrison, you can't say no to him, such a kind little kid! And something I just dis-like, when people say "god" for no justifiable reason, "just like oh my god!" And especially when "god!" is pronounced "gawd!" Those are things I dis-like.

I dunno. Lots of people still like it, probably even among us here.

I don't. Never have. The smell has always irritated me, ever since I was a teeny peeni. :)
It's become a real enduring symbol in art though, especially anime. And curling smoke is great fun to draw! ^_^

Well, my dads friend Avi picked up smoking and now it's limited him so much, and his health is very damaged, so maybe it's just me who doesn't like it, but i don't.

I'm 18 now and I quit smoking a year back. I had been smoking cig's from when I was 13. (bad friends and the likes). I have three smoking parents (Divorced, married other people) and I must say that it can be annoying at times.
people say that the people that hate smoking the most are ex-smokers… that's true.

The friggin' water is out in the apartments. They didn't even give us any warning. I'm going to wash my hands after using the facilities, and nothing happened. I wet and washed my face with an ice cube.

Also, smoking. I'm allergic to the smoke. It triggers a mild asthmatic reaction.

I smoked for like 6 months when I worked at Blockbuster in high school. The smokers took extra breaks and I was always the one left inside for 20 minutes while they were outside chatting. I showed them.

I'm actually really sensitive to the smell of cigarette smoke, so I'm glad most places have made people smoke a certain distance away from entrances. The smell would always waft in with traffic and it would start to bother me. Now it only happens if I'm by an unfortunate window. I do feel bad that smokers have been physically marginalized and are getting the hard sell on 'smoking kills you and everyone around you how could yo be so shameful and horrible you murderer'. But on the other hand, smelly.

Wow i'm impressed, i bought this little bakugan toy for the hell of it at k-mart. I thought it was cool looking and wanted it for my desk. Turns out if i roll this thing onto the card is came with it sticks to it and pops open! Makes me want to get a non crappy one now.

some of these are extremely cool looking though, really clever what you can design with a sphere.

I need to buy a gun.

A plastic toy one, so that I can draw hands holding guns better. I wish I still had the ones I had as a kid (one of them was a replica of the one you often see in movies… the kind that has the entire top part snap back as you shoot, there was also a revolver and some other thing I forget). Due to the fact that the fingers are of a different lenght, they do funny things around the grip, so it's kinda hard to draw that from imagination (unless it's drawn from the outside, meaning you see only the back of the hand, then it is easier).

Been practicing:

that's strange…one of my high school friends lives in an apartment, that they shut the water off without telling anyone.

do you live….in a T state?

Hands are very hard to draw right. Copying them is simply difficult in all sorts of ways. Then again, they're one of the most complicated devices we human beings were blessed with at birth… well… most of us anyway.

I feel like typing more, but at the moment Dreamland calls me… x_x

I just went to pick up a Pizza, and I realized when they didn't have my order that I ordered it at a different place. I would've just went to the other place, but they just changed ownership and their Pizza is now gross.

So I placed an order at the original place I wanted to order at, and stiffed the other place.

And now I'm feeling some weird Pizza guilt. :(
