good, aurora, but they're still kinda stiff looking.you seem to have concentrated more on the outlines of them instead of any features in the mass of the hand, toy around with it a bit more would be my advice, but looking good!

I drew a picture, but then my nose dripped on it, and now it's ruined. I think I have allergies or a cold or something.

I just sneezed on my monitor. -_-

Played some hockey for the first time at school today. I copped a speeding hockey ball to both my ankles as well, so now they bloody hurt. :(

I will be buying leg guards this weekend…

Our USA friends here think only of Ice hockey when people say hockey. I think they play grass hockey like us too over there, but only girls really play it at a competitive level or play it much at all after primary school…?

it depends on the state. a lot of poorer schools have field hockey. because they can't afford their own rink, or to rent one.

How can you play hockey with grass?
Isn't that really hard to hit?

Ice hockey I understand, those Ice cubes are kindof big so they can be hit pretty easy, but grass?

I usually use a puck… but whatever..

I loved playing… grass hockey (it was called something else and we always played it in a gym) as a kid. It was one of the few times where I was allowed to be as aggressive as I wanted to be. Playing a sport with a weapon is fun ^^

Well, in the version I played we used a white plastic ball and since there was no grass to inhibit its movements that thing ended up flinging all over the place ^^

We generally prefer roller hockey, which is pretty much ice hockey with roller blades instead of skates and depending on where you are, maybe a garbage can for a net. I don't think I've ever seen field hockey played here except in cartoons. Not even in Elementary.

Thanks! I've still got to dig deeper into the hands themselves :)

Hooray for discounts. Bought three notebooks. Each one cheap recycled paper (thus slightly greyish) but they were at 75% off, so I got all three for less than 1$ total :D So I have a total of 480 pages to fill with my drawings now.

I'm pondering whether use them for practice, short improvised comics, or for the idea of doing pencils in notebook and then scanning them for inking. Whichever seems best I guess.

Took my writing prompt today to get into AP English 11. I had to apply a quote to a work of fiction and I choose the Great Gatsby like the cool person I am. Not sure how I did, though. I really wanna get in because if I do well on the AP exam at the end of next year, it counts for college credits.

Next week I gotta try for AP U.S. History, but I'm slightly less worried about that because the teacher who's deciding who gets in had me in his class in freshman year and we got along. I don't see why I wouldn't get into either, since I write pretty well and I'm a first honors student… doesn't always help though. :/

Great Gatsby
I discovered that Yves St Laurent did the costumes for the film of that. No wonder they were so crap. -_-

That was the worst thing about the that film of the book in my opinion… The awful versions of the 1920's clothing styles. The fool Laurent blurred the styles into 30's and 40's and added his own modern touches. The result was that it all looks very twee and dated now (bad 70's), instead of classic as it should- like 1970's people playing dress-up, trying to look like people from an era they've only heard about and not done any research into.

…I have a headache. same one since yesterday. -_-
It WON'T go away. Grrrrrr.

Getting a new phone! Woo! The one I want is out of stock but apparently they're getting new ones in on the 22nd, so I'll get it then. Gonna be cool to not have literally the cheapest phone you can get. :)

I can generally tell how emotional I'm getting through the songs I write. I wrote at least five songs this week… and apparently I feel lonely…

Of course there is the off chance that I read them all wrong. For all I know my mind could be demanding a pony. And it isn't getting one.

Wow, Warefish… How much do you eat? Sorry for the weird question, but your avatars keep reminding me of a weird guy with a high metabolism who wears a green shirt, eats more than a normal human being should and drives a green van… and has an equally ravenous Great Dane as a pet/pal… Just a thought…

I try to eat as much as possible with no outcome; I do actually have a high metabolism as well. However I sometimes forget to eat which really doesn't help my ambitions to possess some form of fat or muscle.

And as much as I'd like to have a Great Dane or drive a van, I don't. Green shirts aren't my thing either. 8D

Shaggy eats because he's always high… I don't think Shaggy has a high metabolism, he's probably just catching up on his meals after being too stoned and lazy to eat properly for 30 hours at a time or something :)

I don't think Warefish is stoned all the time ^_^

I think that field hockey is only played in some regions in the US, same as lacrosse. I think lacrosse may be pretty uncommon outside of the US and Canada though. I'd never even heard of it til I moved to Virginia (and got the crap beat out of me at it in the mostly-male gym class).

Ugh my eye is doing that thing again today where it bothers me in an unspecified way. I can't tell if it's pressure behind my eye in my sinus or what, it just feels ever so slightly off and uncomfortable. At least it's not painful, but I do notice it. Same eye that got itself all bloody-whites back in January and a funny little clear bump appears on now and then. I've been to the eye doctor (though not managed it when the bump was there) and they've said nothing is wrong (they were pretty rude in fact).

Yeah I feel my eyes screwing up on me too. There are moments when they gradually loose focus. It gets to a point when I can't focus on anything (which pisses me off greatly) then goes back to normal like some bizarre loop. I've got these tiny brown dots and cracks forming on my eyes too. They can only be seen my myself when I pull my focus right back (who can pick the camera man), yet I feel that some of this is normal.

Wow… been listening to that Fireflies song too much that it makes me want to break out into song… too bad there's no standardized singing emotes so I have to make my own…

o/` Stomping on fireflies.
Watching them as they die.
As their light fades I laugh maniacally.

As the scene fills their eyes
Little children start to cry.
And all I do is stand and smile with glee.

I incite war around the world
so I can watch the Earth… burn… slowly…

Death and destruction as far as I can see…
It feels so good to be mean!
o/`

Okay. I'll stop now before someone decides to drop a broken satellite on me. >:-D
