I thought most art students were bi– wait, 'don't like labels'. I fail to see how that connects to nude models or some guy in his undies tho, its not like they're forced to watch them.

I don't know if most are bi or 'don't like labels', but most of them get extremely no-homo when it comes to undressing in from of other people of the same sex. They're not forced to watch like you said, but a lot of them tweak out a bit. The contradictory thing isn't limited to sex only though. It applies to pretty much everything.

Of course it could always just be I'm desensitized from having so many friends who don't care, but I still think it's funny that they're uncomfortable.

Halo: Legends was a complete waste of my money. It had story lines way out of canon. (if you know the story line) The one i enjoyed the most still broke canon. although only in one area.

horrible. absolutely no good. very bad. day?

also, i went to panera bread, and got a sourdough bread bowl chicken noodle soup. it was delicious.

I met a traveller from an antique land
Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them and the heart that fed.
And on the pedestal these words appear:
"My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!"
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

I'm REALLY frustrated now. I just finished making a whole HTML cast page for my comic from scratch on notepad thinking that I could just upload it to the file manager and link to it, but it doesn't seem to be working. I'm not sure if it has to do with the recent site problems or maybe I have to host it or something, but I really hope I'll be able to use it because I spent all day on it and I really like the way it turned out…

Terrible day today.

Took a 3 hour trip with my family to New York, all five of us crammed in a car. You see, two years ago my Dad met a Guiding Eyes for the Blind trainer in Borders. We had lost our 15 year old dog about a month before and he was pretty down about it. He then found out more info and we got out dog, a big pain in the butt called Edgar. I don't really like pets so I wasn't thirlled/enthralled. We trained him for a year and a half and then he went into more throrough training at the center in New York. He had been training for about 8 weeks when we learned he was "graduating" today. We went to it and it was pretty short and boring but we met the man who he is now helping and the man was very cool. He smoked though… Then we went back on the road to go home, another 3 hour long drive. The ride hom was filled with my brother being a pain, my mom and dad getting pissed with each other because the other was pissed, and my sister falling asleep and continuously falling onto me and my brother while asleep.
To add to this, it was very hot and I felt like crap.

On a plus sign I found out a few good/intresting things today:
The 69th exit in Conneticut leads to Es-SEX.
Me and my friend Randy are officially a band and will start writing songs soon. I'm singing and playing guitar (possibly piano too), and he is singing, playing drums, and playing guitar. It's gonna be awesome and our current name is "Intrestocity", which is a mix between "intresting" and "idiocracy". We're gonna do comedy. Lot of alt rock stuff. Gonna be awesome.

A volcano just started erupting about 100 miles from where I live. It's the first eruption in almost 10 years which is kinda weird because we normally get one every 5 years or so. The girl that's throwing a tantrum this time has only erupted twice in our recored history. Once in the sixteen-hundreds and again in the eighteen-hundreds. Looks like she's keeping up with her 200 year schedule.

Vinland saga was an epic manga. Too underrated though.

HORSE PUNCHIN!
Never heard of it. I'm reading through the first chapters now. Just got to the part where Leifur Eiríkson is first introduced. I noticed that he's being portrayed as some has been who's living of his grand tales of how he discovered America. Poor guy. Makes me wanna reach out to him to tell him about the statues that stand in various landmarks around my capital in his honor.

Edit: Oh, wow. The author knew that Leifur was Christian. I'm most impressed.

I must be crazy…

I've got a regular job coming up, already working on a webcomic, preparing to do a second one (once I have settled in the job/after it)… and guess what?

I'm thinking of adding a daily strip!!!

I really must be crazy!

But I have this idea I think it's good and it should be something people can relate to and I shouldn't run out of strip ideas too fast. So maybe it'd be worth doing it? I mean, it's not meant to be super beautifully drawn, I'm actually going to aim for very cartoony simple lineart thing here.

But is it still a strip if the strip takes the form of a single 6 panel grid page rather than actual strip? :D

Oh yeah… Script Frenzy is approaching, so I decided to do 100 pages of thumbnails/page layouts in April (perhaps even try doing them as raw pencils even, might be good to pile up a large buffer of short stories…)

In other news, it's almost 5am and I'm sitting here typing away. I should be in bed :P

I hate the smell of hot tomato sauce.
I do. I hate it.

Because it smells exactly the same as fresh horse piss, and that is a NASTY smell.
…When the horse positions itself, lets loose a fire-hose stream of hot stinking yellow liquid that forms a steaming, foaming puddle in the mud, that's the smell that wafts towards you. –__–

I say that because I've just caught a whiff of someone eating a hot pie with tomato sauce on it, and it's stomach turning. :(
Plus, I have a minor migraine so that makes me more sensitive to smells.

Great… now I'm tempted to look for and attempt to make myself a meatball marinara sub sandwich. It looks easy enough, but is it? Ugh… maybe it's best if I just settle for the Subway sandwiches. At least I can fill up my sandwich card.

It's the current site problems. :[ Sorry. You should be able to use it once whatever it is gets fixed. I wouldn't risk trying until then.

Listened to an idiotic Republican and some Bible scholar talk about the end of the world last night…while I played sapphire and beat the elite four again. Still basically only used my Magneton and Kyorgre, my Magneton is level 57 and my Kyogre is level 53. But I did use my Wobbuffet (37) to wipe out the leader's pokemon. Yeah, that's right, Wobbuffets are awesome.
And that Republican is stupid. Like REALLY stupid.

Those guys are the exact same idiots that think places like Iran are evil and need nuking… Extremely ironic when only the craziest of the crazies in Iran literally believes shit like "the end of days".
If it was up to those sorts of people, everywhere would governed like Iran.
Corrupt out-of-touch theocracy FTW! :)

Having seem the vid to that "Lady Gaga" song about a telephone and seen the Pompalmoose version, I find the Pompalmoose one the winner:

God that's good. ^_^
Great vid, great music, great singing.

I've ignored the Gaga stuff mostly, but I checked her out from her original version of that song. I like the way she loves to dress up for the hell of it, but her singing and performance is a bit bland and pointless.- just another popsinger with the usual sausage factory produced samey music and the usual overproduced electronically enhanced voice like all the other ones. It was very disapointing listening to her version… :(

The thing with Lady Gaga's song is that even though they are really not up to par, they're impossible to get out of your head.

COME ON SOULSILVER, HURRY UP AND GET TO THE UK, IT DOESN'T TAKE THAT LONG TO TRANSLATE IT FROM AMERICAN TO ENGLISH JUST ADD A FEW U'S HERE AND THERE. >:(

Can't. It's not exactly next door and the wind direction is making the plume drift in the opposite direction so I'm not gonna experience ash fall either. Driving there is out of the question since the surrounding area has been evacuated and closed off. The best I can give you is pictures taken by others.

This one was taken last night, shortly after it started.

And this one was taken few hours later.

I know it doesn't look much but that fissure is actually a kilometer (half a mile) long

We've known for days that it was going to erupt and had been spending all week monitoring it and preparing. The evacuation only couple of hours and no one was ever in danger. Experts are saying that this is going to be a tiny one. Will be over in couple of days. However there's some slight concerns that this might awaken a larger volcano that's nearby.

Geez, I finished two comic projects last night… I should really probably get on doing a new group shot now that I have time but I'm so bad at those. Probably because I have far too many characters.

I estimated that if I keep going the rate I'm going with my updates, I could get 105 pages done by the end of this year. Actually, now that I think about it, I work a couple of months in advance (my diet: crack and cherry doctor pepper) so it's probably even more than that. Jesus, that's a lot of comic. It's really possible, too, with my ridiculous buffer.

What does the sun look like again?

VOLCANOOOOO

my buddy was coming home when that erupted. he's now stuck in germany…i guess they have to plot a new flight course because of the ash or something.

Bingo. That stuff is nasty. It acts like snow except it's several times heavier. If it's allowed to pile up on top of roofs, the weight can easily collapse the buildings. It can drift for hundreds of miles and if it gets wet, it behaves like cement. This stuff is grade "A" machine clogging material. You do not want to be in a plane that flies through an ash cloud.

Great. It's Sunday again. I had one week for spring break and it ended up going to working, doing classwork and fixing my apartment. I feel like shit, more stressed out than before the break started and I'm starting to get really sick of living paycheck to paycheck without being able to afford a day off at any point. I almost can't wait for tomorrow, just because it means my workload will actually decrease. I'm supposed to be writing my junior thesis project proposal, but how the hell do you justify going into poster and album illustration as a smart move when you're already in a field with something like only a 30% rate of students with the degree actually going into that field? It's already an insane course of action by most people's judgement to gamble a $50,000 educational debt on the opportunity of becoming an illustrator for a living.

I was really hoping to be able to take that job opportunity in London too, but that went out the window the moment I found out they'd be needing me immediately and I'd have to quit school to do it. It sounded like such an awesome job too. Full benefits, a decent salary, the whole works.

Grump grump grump. friggin' hate not having days off. /bitching

Dude, I can sort of relate. Worked all throughout spring break this past week, hardly had any freetime. :/ Between school and work I hardly have any time to do what I really want to. @_@

Anyways…That sonic ad on this site is starting to get really annoying. That and I hope the updating problem will be fixed soon…there's a few things I want to add to my site and it's sucks to not be able to. DD, I love you, please stop annoying me…>_>

My spring break doesn't start until April 1st but I don't go back until the 12th. I'm pretty obviously calculating the time at this point because I'm so pissed at my school right now that I want to be away from it as much as possible.

I used to count hours…
I don't care much now though, I can skip as much school as I want and it doesn't have any concequences.

Yay to videotaping every class!

So fucking lucky, at the old hs i went to you had 9 days you were allowed to be absent in total, if you missed more than that you failed your classes. Even at my college they will take away 2% of your grade per day you miss after 3 absences. I was seriously hoping they'd get sued when they enacted that this year, you pay for the damn classes you deserve some freedom. >(
