Been playing guitar all day.

Is it possible to upload mp3 and other sound files up to this site? If not then does anyone know a site that will?

Youtube then embed the file to where you wanna put it. Just open some video editing program then pop a photo in and upload it.

My spring break doesn't start until April 1st but I don't go back until the 12th. I'm pretty obviously calculating the time at this point because I'm so pissed at my school right now that I want to be away from it as much as possible.

I used to count hours…
I don't care much now though, I can skip as much school as I want and it doesn't have any concequences.

Yay to videotaping every class!
So fucking lucky, at the old hs i went to you had 9 days you were allowed to be absent in total, if you missed more than that you failed your classes. Even at my college they will take away 2% of your grade per day you miss after 3 absences. I was seriously hoping they'd get sued when they enacted that this year, you pay for the damn classes you deserve some freedom. >(

Same here, I go to a pretty small school too so it's not like you can slip under the radar. Though I know a lot of girls that take "mental health days" all the time.

At my school after 8 classes missed you're supposed to get an "attendance contract" and at 12 they consider withdrawing you from the course. But I know I've missed 11 or so in at least one of my classes, and so far no consequences. It would be pretty silly if they did do something, I couldn't be doing much better in my classes.
My school tends to be more bark than bite with absences, though. I know one girl who got an attendance contract but she had missed 24 classes before that point and wasn't doing very well in the class.

I feel like it isn't really their business whether I'm there all the time or not as long as I'm getting all my work done well and on time. Although I can see how it would be frustrating for teachers if no one ever showed up.

Bare with me some more because I'm still talking about that eruption.

I was looking up some more info about it and it turns out it has now erupted 5 times, as far as we can tell, counting this time. It erupted at some point in the 500dreds, 920, 1612 and 1821. The 18th century one was a big one. It was categorized as a Plinian eruption, lasting couple of years while creating multiple pyroclastic flows and causing heavy ash falls. As I previously stated, this one is predicted to be far milder. The lava coming out of it is basalt which is good. That type of stuff cools faster and isn't very acidic.

Now, there's are couple of concerns with this ongoing eruption. Scientists have been able to map out the lava pockets under the area and got this picture:

Those small yellow pockets all the way in the left bottom of the picture are deposit of felsic lava. It is high in silicone and is very acidic. It is also thicker and can create very nasty eruptions.

Also, you've probably noticed that huge lava deposit on the other mountain. That my friends is Katla, a bona fide nasty old bitch. She's one of our heavy weights, with 16 documented eruptions and over thousand pre-human recorded cases as well. When she goes, she does so big time and normally ends up melting half the glacier on top of her in the process. That creates one of the largest flooding you can think of which makes the Amazon, Mississippi and the Nile, combined, look like a sprinkle. Last time she stirred up a ruckus, was in 1918 but she's likely to go again soon since she's done so every single time her neighbor has erupted. The same one that's erupting right now.

Going to be very interesting times.

Edit: Here you go Oz. Some guy got up there and managed to take some close up photos from this morning.

wow… now I know why I've been feeling miserable these past few weeks. After my vision started becoming weird this morning, I went to see a doctor about it. Turns out I have a high heart rate (120bpm) and my blood pressure is… 95/80. I guess I'll do what she says and cut back on my blood pressure meds, then come back to her in a week to see the results…

I'd suggest working in security, but you'd hate the low pay, lousy hours, evil/crummy/cheap/lazy supervisors/bosses and the fact that you have to buy/maintain your own uniform and cut your hair for the job…

Wow…. got a FREE copy of the old Super Mario Brothers game for my Wii…

Picard sucks donkey. He just lost his ship 4 times in the same episode. You can bet your ass that Kirk would not have lost it.

I promised the literary magazine editor that I would do some digital art for her to put in, but I have no idea what to draw. I have a ton of writing in there, but no art. Lately I feel like we've just been trying to emulate the public school lit mags since their formatting is really well done, but they get money from the government to fund it and even have their own publishing rooms while we're always on a budget tight. We won an award of some kind though, last year, but that's probably because our school's has a lot of substance rather than ANGER, splash of blood, Poem about Hitler with a picture of Bush next to it, Animes!

I really wanna be editor next year. Actually that's a lie, I just don't want this one particular girl to get picked because she and I DO NOT get along. I swear to God I'm quitting if she does, I refuse to have to deal with her controlling personality. I've been busting my ass to get considered while she runs to the vending machines instead of proofreading. She acts like she already runs it though, so she'll probably get picked… >___>

I just don't have a drive for anything i used to like anymore :/ The work-outs, the comics, the schoolwork-nothing. Doesn't sound like much but that's kind of all i did. I dunno if i'm just lazy as hell or if something else is going on. I've been told its a symptom of depression but i honestly dont feel down :/

I'll be 20 this year too…
…damn i cant even turn to bars yet.

I should be in bed. i haven't not been in bed in time for 8 hours of sleep in quite a while. why am i not in bed? apparently Scifi channel is having a star trek: TNG marathon. those jerks. just when i think i'll break away, they immediatly go into the next episode, not even times for credits. just the next one. and the next. and the next.

DAMN YOU PICARD!

Just had one of my weirder thoughts… the kind that sorta float up when you're lying in bed trying to sleep while the blazing sun shines in your eyes… THROUGH THE ROOF AND WHATEVER YOU PUT OVER YOUR EYES!!! Anyway….

Some former lawyer decides to put a up a code that applies to webcomics… similar to the Comics and Hays Codes… and Platinum Studios agrees to enforce it!!! Cut to the many DD comics that end up being deleted because of it 'til the only comics left are the ones where you only see people singing, dancing, caring and sharing while dancing in a field of flowers… and not a word in sight! Worse, all the other providers for webcomic space also adopt the code and they hire "professionals" to hack into and destroy any server that doesn't follow the code…

Okay… I'm giving myself nightmares now…

Okay… I'm giving myself nightmares now…
Shh, Kyupol with start to realise what's really going on >.>

—————–
Wow, massive storm here yesterday, biggest in decades they say.
Our first rain in over 100 days and it hit with torrential downpours and massive hail stones, thick as snow on the ground, shattering car windows and things. They're the biggest hail stones I've ever seen in person in my life. It cause power outages across the city and the rains cause some landslides and undermined buildings… And it only lasted less than 2 hours, now it's stinking hot again and even more humid! >:-\

What's especially annoying for me is that these bloody workmen have been closing off the pathway to my work from the train all through last year doing repairs to this new building and just recently they've been fixing up the drains there… Well the side of that building is all washed away now, the pathway is falling to pieces because it's undermined and the stupid drains obviously did not work.
All that means is another 6 months while these idiots block up the roads and all the paths doing more work. ugh!

…Ah well. My house was ok.
My cat knew it was coming way in advance! It was amazing. He crept about like a scared little thing and then hid before it struck. He NEVER hides when storms come normally.
He was fine though. Afterwards he went out and brang back a nice fat young rat to munch on- made sure I knew about it- and he left its whiskery nose for me to clean up as usual.

Man, yesterday was mighty creative. Wrote 10 pages of script and did this image for the whitechapel's cover remodel thread.

Going to attempt to repeat this today by finishing off the script for the longer short story :D

The question of "What the hell would you do without me being so close in this situation?!" means nothing to my parents, and they bug the shit out of me to help with EVERYTHING and make me the asshole for telling them I have one day off and want to/have to do other things than help them hang a god damn picture.

It's supposed to snow again today and tomorrow…it's been nice and now it's shit. Freezing outside.

In eight days I go to Vegas for five days! WOOT! I'll have pictures.
