because american keyboards have everything in the same place they've had them as long as i've been typing. on top of that i've had this keyboard for a good 4 years now. so it's pretty much muscle memory for everything…
I have one computer with a US keyboard and all the others here use a UK keyboard, it's now more natural for me to type on a UK keyboard, with its £ and ¬ keys and its swapped @ and " and misplaced # :[ The $ is over the 4, that just ain't right. At least there is still a $ key at all. :america:

I've always thought the idea of keyboards in other languages is pretty cool, mostly because they follow the same principles yet in japanese/chinese/whatever. I find it interesting that UK keyboards have a $ sign though.

———-
I had a nightmare last night, woke up but then went back to bed. I don't remember much but it was creepy and some girl was screaming. I got another idea for a comic but i'm really trying to finish this one :/ I'm almost wondering if i'll end up finishing all my comics at the same time because i seem to do 1 page randomly then hop to another one.

Our Store is almost done! \^_^/

Then it will be time for DD people to flood in a break it into bits and Skool and I (and hopefully the mods too), will be running around posting the same answers in a million different complaint threads… :(

"Yes, we KNOW there's a problem, there are news posts about it, five other threads in this part of the forum alone and at least 18 elsewhere, we can't do anything right now but our programmer is working on it!"

I can see that in the future.

If that happens, I suggest a copy-paste approach so that anyone can just give them a nice "Oz's answering machine" style response.

I have to go out and spend even more money this week. I'm already dangerously depleted on funds, but I need some nice clothes for an exhibition I'm partaking in tonight. I got into it by freak luck too. It makes me nervous though, to think that I might be the only representative of my entire department at this thing as a result of it all.

Just got back from the vet. Turns out my cat has diabetes. I need to give her insulin injections every day for the rest of her life.

But at least she should be feeling much better soon, and her heart, kidneys, liver, etc. are all in great shape for a cat her age. It's nice to be getting a mostly pretty good bill of health. (Though a rather expensive one. :P )

Got a new kitty! Her name is Antimony, she's a seven year old Siamese/Balinese, and I love her. :) She is super affectionate and talkative, and seems really calm and curious in her new home so far. Although so far she's just in my room, she hasn't met the other pets yet. Hopefully that goes well too.

We're actually at the legal limits for cats now! D:

Son of a Banshee, I have a lot of work to do this weekend but I'll probably get a lot of shit from my parents if I don't leave the house. Oh well. At least it's almost Easter break!

That cat is adorable! :)

Just one question… will it hunt and eat Brown Tree Snakes?

Just gave my cat April her first insulin injection. It wasn't too bad. I'm also treating her for a uti, and giving her oral antibiotics is much harder than giving her injections. :P

She already seems a little perkier than yesterday and has been eating a fair bit. (She's a little underweight because she's had trouble keeping her food down, which was why we went to the vet in the first place.) I need to give her an injection every morning and then she has to go back to the vet next week to have her blood sugar monitored and tested over the course of a day.

It's nice to see her feeling better, even if it takes extra work and money.

Not many of those around here…

So far Annie seems perfect. She doesn't want to go on my laptop like my other two cats(yet) and I slept with her up on my bed last night, and she didn't wake me up.

i'm currently having an argument, because i'm a large proponent of "you can be anything you want to be…..as long as you have the funds" but not in a bribery sense. It costs a lot for plane rides and lessons. to… lets say buy a rally car and go race it. sigh. how come no one else does this?

Ah. Good to see she's not acting on her hunter instincts, I guess. Not sure I want to see a cat as nice as that covered in the blood of its intended prey. :)

CAGED. i feel so caged. why? i don't know. but i was driving earlier. and i wanted to speed, but i couldn't. (both because of the law, and i wouldn't let myself). nothing has changed between yesterday and today, but suddenly i feel the weight of all the rules i'm under.

I feel like i haven't taken a break from work in a year, but that's untrue, i've had 2 3 day weekends, and i had nearly all of the holiday's off. however the last time i was home was the weekend after labor day. to visit my wife's grandfather who was passing away. it was a literal weekend, and i didn't get to spend much time with my family.

I suddenly crave the things that i do with my family. shooting the bull, riding 4 wheelers. drinking….never in that order :D

I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS. it was fine, and then i was driving. and i just wanted a back road, curvy, and i wanted to go fast. but i was in the middle of a suburb, a road as straight as an arrow. at home, i'm locked in. with no "friends" inviting me out. are they even my friends if i only see and interact with them at work? sigh. i can't take time off to go home till june, due to a series of unfortunate events…(neither the book nor the movie)

Well, near the end of summer in my Harvest Moon: ToT game. Got a nice fully upgraded house (with crappy furniture), clear fields full of strawberries, corn, onions and honeydew melons. And I've got a chicken coop. With a chicken. Named L33t. If I can keep the chicken alive long enough it'll be producing nice golden eggs. Well… I hope. I tend to be forgetful when it comes to this game. Left my animals out in the rain and only realized it at the end of the day. O_O

Two things creep me out about this game. All the "marriage candidates" are "moe" or something like that. I mean… one of them looks like an imitation of Indiana Jones! He looks older, has sorta wild hair, wears a fedora and is very interested in archeology!!!

The second? One of those candiates looks like jailbait… They made her a bit taller in the second iteration of the game, but she still looks like jailbait…

Ended up getting in a "bad" mood yesterday rather than being in a bored state.
Not good. Probably said things that offended people. Not on here but like to my family…stupid 1337. :(

New best song ever:
What if the Guy From the Smashing Pumpkins Lost His Car Keys? by Stephen Lynch

Got a couple of new CD's yesterday. Surfing with the Alien by Joe Satriani (love the song Midnight!), Incesticide by Nirvana (much different than their other stuff I have so far…unfortunately), and…the best of Shaggy… :)

Mr Boombastic!
(as you can see I'm in a much better mood)

Speaking of Harvest Moon, I ordered Modern Warfare like a week ago, waited most of the week all pumped up to play it again, finally got the package from Amazon and opened it only to find: Magical Melodies. My face just went from :D to :[. It's not even the right console. I don't know how they screwed that up, but I decided "ah what the hell" and put it in because I only paid $5 for it anyway. Now I understand why that series has been around forever, it's like an actually semi-entertaining version of facebook's farmville. It's not a bad game, especially for $5, but I've have definitely preferred to find Modern Warfare in the package.

I've got me sum' photoshop again!
Padadabapaaaaah! I'm lovin' it!

I got beat up today!
YEAH! It was really funny. I have a little niece and nephew, every time I have a party and they show up, they attack me. I'm like HUGE and they're like MINI so I can pick them up with one arm throw them around and all they can do is bounce back. This time I stole one of their shoes and put it on top of the wardrobe…

Hehe…

Oh and Hippie van…

That game wasn't the best in the series… in my opinion anyway. It's like they took most of the characters from the previous games and bunched them up in Magical Melody. And in the U.S. version they took out all the rival marriages so getting married in the game isn't a challenge at all (in most of the games, your rivals will marry the marriage candidates if you wait too long). My personal favorite in the series was A Wonderful Life, followed by Another Wonderful Life. In both your farmer ages and time passes and the game ends with your death. :)

Just spent the last half an hour laughing at people complaining about how they cant function because youtube is down. .com may not work but has it ever came into these peoples heads that .co.uk might? Also people have put themselves in hospital because of it. lol! Seriously.

I wouldn't really know. Like I said, I wound up with after ordering a different game. I've never really played any other game from the series. But a game that ends with your inevitable death sounds really depressing. I'm not sure I'd want to play that one a second time if I went through all the trouble and it just ended like that.

I guess it could be, seeing as you die from old age. But you farm, raise a family, become friendly with the town (including helping out an old guy whose wife dies a bit later in the game), etc… Harvest Moon isn't for everyone, so I hope you eventually get the game you actually wanted. :)
