The only way to meet a nice girl is to actually go out and do stuff in places where there might be nice girls. Mail order brides and stuff like that isn't neccesary if you're active enough. And don't worry, there's no such thing as the one, almost anyone is so desperate for love that they'll settle.

Yeah… everyone tells me that.  But when I said my luck with women was bad, I wasn't kidding. Every woman I've met (even recently at a restaurant and then at work) is one of these… married, single with boyfriend, single with GIRLFRIEND, or I'm not worth hanging around with.  Sometimes I wish I had that gene my father has (I got most of my mother's genes)… he had no problem attracting women to him, even at 60!!!  T_T

Is the switch on the 'art compactor' still set to the positive? I can't bring myself to feed any more of my painty children to it's squashing evil at the moment.

I am currently reading.. "Batmanga", it's like.. rad and swell!

Okay, I don't know if this will quote right. But I guess TD and Facebook wants me to never have anything to do with you again :P

EDIT… oh dear. It really fubared my message up. And only quoted your happy smiley. Must be some sort of forced happiness script they have running since they know we hate this new site so much! =p

EDIT 2: Well editing messed up even more!

Images over 960 pixels wide were meant to be shrunk, but all the other image compression was a mistake. They're working on fixing it but apparently it's a slow one-by-one sort of process and I don't know how far along they've gotten with that. I know they planned to start with the most popular comic and work down, but doing too much at once slows the site down, so they were 'rationing' it. If you haven't got too many pages then you might be better off re-uploading them (they shouldn't be converted any more) than waiting for the people behind the scenes to get round to it. Sorry. :[

Well tell your father to go out and get a girl for you.

If he's so good at it tell him to go do it and you'll date what he brings you.

I never had trouble attracting women.  I had a big probelm realizing that I had attracted one and getting up the courage to do anything.

Anyway my mom turns 82 today and I'm meeting her after she gets off work.  I'm also praying that I won't get called in to work tonight.  The site captain has been calling out every other day or so.  This rampant absenteeism is unacceptable.  And he had the gumption to worry who's going to cover my vacation in November?
Well I'm not the guy who can't seem to get to work two days in a row and calls out at the last possible minute forcing me out of bed and into work on my days off as fast as I can get there.  I usually get the call at 11PM for a midnight shift and I live 40 minutes away.  Unless I could warp time and space there is no way I could get there on time in any condition to work.  But damn am I racking up the extra time.

I myself have often hit on lesbian girls.

Once she only told me after three dates…

Everyone has problems, the only way out is settling…

Not to mention that the one is usually the wrong one.
Dating agencies.
don't dismiss it, a friend of mine is good looking intelligent and social yet has trouble getting dates.  Dating agencies have helped him a lot.

What would be the minimum needed to make this forum ok to post on again?
Personally I'm thinking Just plain white instead of dark yellow where the text is displayed, and black text instead of blue.
And no more silly javascript text editor- it really IS utterely uneeded and you can post without it if Java is turned off, so it doesn't have to be here: it renders text differently to how it shows up anyway, which is worse than doing without simple editing functions because you really have no idea what your post will look like.

Is it not possible for the designer to just have an alt (black and white - high contrast) CSS option for the forums? Just set a cookie or at most another INT 1/0 field in the user table.

That would, I imagine, please the accessibilty squealers too.

You'd think. :(
Personally, I think the default needs to be black and white, not the option. The option can be what we have now.
Hehe, problems with geting forum posts just so are nothing compared to trying o use the Admin panel. It's really a mercy that the site ISN'T more active at this stage.

Well, finally updated Magiversity.  I wonder if that tool that lets users know when a comic has been updated still works… somehow I doubt it.

The only thing they need to change about this forum is just switching the colors of the light yellow and the dark yellow. Black on yellow is actually the kind of combination that has the best readability.
.
I would like the forums to have constantly changing colors. Monday is spiderman blue and red, tuesdag is deadpool black and red, wednesday is batman black (Wednesdays nobody can read the forums). thursday is hulk purple and green, Friday is punisher black and white, Saturday is Fantastic four (Or future foundation) blue, and then finally sunday is daredevil red and yellow.
.
Wouldn't that be awesome?

I'm trying to work out what the best theme for DD in this state should be:
-1. Survivors of a zombie apocalypse.
-2. Red Dwarf, Season 1, after Lister wakes up to find that he's the only human left alive.
-3. Mad Max 3, Beyond Thunderdome, where the survivors fight for megre resources in what's left of the ruins of society. :)

Aren't you supposed to improve the mood instead of being negative about everything?
