It didn't snow. It's raining now and I was just outside to spread out the ice melt and the ice is overrated. Keep the sand coming and everything will be fine. Just so long as I don't have to shovel anything.

Here's one for the record. I use a "grainhog" shovel for the snow. It's lasted 16 years better than any snow shovel I ever had. It's the same kind of shovel you'd use to shovel shit. I used to spend a lot of time BSing in my academic days. I got that bigger shovel. There was an old Robert Kline routine that he got a B on an essay and the professor wrote "Get a bigger shovel next time" across the bottom.

Can't dazzle them with brilliance; baffle them with bullshit. The motto of any and all debate and discussion forums.

Need ideas for my final graphic design piece… My theme is technology. I have no idea of what I should actually do for it in the way of a product. I was thinking a book or a poster… Those seem a bit shit though. Anyone else got ideas?
Draw a DS eating the Wii on the cover of the book.
Call it Mario's guide to Natural Selection.

I've got nothin.

no. no I don't.

So I got another snow day today but all that's happened is ice cold rain.

So it's a rain day.

That means no shoveling.

>:D

I'm watching the Egypt channel. All I keep hearing is little pops and people standing together, not moving.

School has been closed for two days now because of the ice that hasn't melted. The temperature still hasn't risen above freezing. Now I'm waiting for word that they will cancel school tomorrow. The other university in the city is closing up. Besides, there have been intentional power outages for about a quarter of an hour at a time to relieve the generators and prevent rolling blackouts. This is so interesting to me because we haven't had a good snow like this since I was in middle school. But it wasn't that bad then. School was only closed for 2 and half days back then. But the temperature is so cold, it is actually cheaper to close the school than to waste money on heat.

I forced fiance to stay home from work yesterday, and it seems that it was a good thing I did. It takes him an hour to drive on a good day. He starts work at 1:30pm. His work closed at 3pm yesterday. So he really didn't miss much and I got to corrupt my poor working man with a do nothing day.

We Texans really don't know how to cope with all this. I'm just glad I had my parents bring my ski jacket and snow boots last week. I guess I saw this coming before the weathermen did.'

-edit- Just go a text from my school's alert system. I won't have to go to class tomorrow. I've been having a lot of lazy days. However I'm worried. When fiance and I went to the store on Friday we only got some TV dinners because I was going to be eating alone this week and get lunch at school. We didn't get anything for emergency meals…I might have to send fiance to the store tomorrow…

Man ebay is so awesome. I've found like 10 different things in the past week I didn't even realize I wanted. This one ebay seller has all this amazing shit but I already spent up my money QQ. I'd need about 120$ to get it all though and it ends in 6 days…WHYYYYY

Aurora Borealis- Awesome on the 250 mark! Productivity can be a sweet, sweet drug.

Thank you. My only regret is that I didn't know/think of webcomics years earlier, when I was actually getting paid for going to school. I'd have enough time to work on stuff and a large pile of finished pages by now. These days I have to partition time between work and comics and either one wins or the other. Currently comics are winning but pretty soon I expect work to win cause I'll be in need of money.

(having said that, I've had a heavy marathon and colored 9 pages in 2 days… only a 6 page comic left to go, this one shall be done tomorrow).

Congrats Aurora Borealis!

@ Niccea: It's supposed to ice over on Thursday if it rains. T_T I gotta work that night.

@ Everybody: If You love this site, the freedom of speech, and are a US citizen go here! Basically, the free net neutral web that we know is in serious trouble and will probably go the way of the dinosaur if we don't do something.

Don't believe me read up on the FCC and net neutrality.

Heehee, my cat Annie hates it so much when I whistle.
When I start whistling she does these little whiny meows, then she gets off my lap and paces around my desk, then comes back and meows again.

To convince me that God exists and Jesus Christ is lord and saviour… I'd need a non-Christian source to get that proof.

If that proves to be true, I will accept Jesus Christ as lord and savior.

How about Jesus as a bodhisattva which in Mahayana Buddhism is a savior… You ain't gonna get the Trinity outside of Catholicism and Buddhism is a good non-Christian source. Look into those lost years of Jesus when he trekked off to India and never forget those sightings of orange robed bald-headed guys in the First Century AD Middle East.
Some Gnostic gospels read like Buddhist and Hindu texts.
But you might have a problem with how Jesus' life parallels that of Siddhartha Buddha and Zoroaster.
But if he's a bodhisattva that's okay!

The ice is cool and all that rain melted enough snow that I can get another few feet of snow and I'll have room to shovel. This winter I'll take anything I can get. lol!

probably.

but we're not hinting at 1337's age now, ARE WE?

That's a see-crit.

At least until it doesn't make me look dumb.

My dog tried to stand on solid snow and sunk to the bottom and then was scared of going on the snow to shit.

And today only guys raised their hands when a teacher asked if anyone had seen Titanic.

And other stuff.

Oh my mom made that before. :) It was really good. I prefer leeks in chicken soup more or her ham and split pea soup.

Mom wants to go to vegas for our birthdays…meh i don't know. Gambling and bars sound really un-fun to me. (and the whole trip will be around 600$)

i'm about to be old. but ozone is older, so it's cool. i can still feel young as long as he's around.

My car died. i think the engine seized. i hope not, because that's everything i have just to buy a new engine. and then to get it installed? so screwed. but i don't really know cars that well.
here's hoping.

i want the tow truck to be hit by a semi. not the cab, just the bed carrying my car. if it gets mangled beyond recognition, then i neither have to pay for a new engine, or make car payments anymore!

Omg *froths at mouth*

speaking of ebay(again) I was thinking of bidding on these cards and reading through the item description, when all the sudden there's this long ass psalm and 'ACCEPT JESUS INTO YOUR HEART TODAY", etc.

What the hell does religion have to do with japanese pokemon cards? Wtf man.

Pretty short rant, I really wish I had more time so I could get caught up with this Eygpt stuff. I'm really interested in it but I'm lagging so far behind. D:

God loves a consumer. Some faiths have an obligation to put proselytizing into all their adherent's activities. Therefore psalms incongruously appear in ebay descriptions. I never scroll that far anymore I just use the link to skip to the S&H.
I was blown away that I had wasted so much time and effort on Ebay that I got my red star. One thousand plus positive feedback! Woo-hoo!

On another forum the posters are all excited about Egypt because it provides lots of close-up pics of current Egyptian military equipment. There was quite an education about the current Egyptian military to be had. They make their own M113s and M1s under license.
