JOY!!!

I just passed the first black belt test of two. This one was only 1:30, but the actual one is 3 freaking hours!!!

I got through, despite the master saying i wasnt gonna make it! He even made me perform on my own in front of the other masters and my whole group! And he said I was great at sparring.

It was really hard though, my friend didn't pass. She had to bow out twice because she was buckling under the pressure and crying. She was wailing when I left.
An adult had to sit out twice because it was so exausting.

I've got really badly blistered feet now and I can't even help mum down town on Mother's Day, but I'm soo happy about making it, that the pain isn't so bad.

We were all nearly crying under so much pressure, and all bright red and shaking so much we looked like big jelly blobs, but I DID IT!!!!!

i want to study with your classes.

Omaha only has the "let everyone pass" mcdojo's.

thanks ozone. i can start reading again.

i bought my wife a bicycle, now we can ride together.

Wow… I'm so incredibly bored. So bored in fact that I'm heavily tempted to draw Skoolmunkee's avatar standing on top of a pile of dead zombie banana corpses, blasting one zombie banana on the right with a S.A.W. (or Squad Automatic Weapon) one-handed, and blasting the peel off another zombie banana with a platinum plated .50 Action Express loaded Desert Eagle on the left into the camera. But maybe that's not a good idea seeing that it would probably just punch them out…

Or maybe Pinky T.A. with boxing gloves knocking out a certain ear biting elbow punching boxer…

I'd go try and play my Pokemon Sapphire game that I've got sitting on my desk right now, but I've got no console to play it on…

Congrats!
You're pretty young, aren't you? What kind of martial arts is this?

So that guy that we caught stealing? He was back in our store Saturday. -_-

Also, someone brought in 7 kittens.

I'm being indirectly referred to as an attraction for the Mafia game!? >_>;

But maybe if that's true and I exhort more of you guys to start playing, it'll happen? I'd really like more new players to sign up! We'll teach you how to play.

As for this being the share thread, I bought the best incense ever at a flea market. I burn one cone and things smell excellent for days. I'll never be able to buy incense at the mall again.

You have flea markets over there? I thought it was just us! Do you have flea circuses too?

I decided to find out how to make an animated sig banner with all kinds of eyeball caressing action but then I remembered people are always complaining when banners don't look like the comic. Would they expect my comic to be a fully animated feature, with a soundtrack - maybe some showtunes?

I'm not sure now - this could get complicated.

I just spent a lot of money on some seats. seats that i'm really hoping are comfortable. the good news is in the future, i don't have to buy all the extra parts for install, because i already have them. just need to swap out seats.

My moms car broke down and she's been using mine. I am so bored and ronery. T_T

And why does it cost so much to ship something through the mail? Argh. I basically won an auction and shipping is 3x what I paid for it. It sucks because i already bought the item and can't back out.

And then on top of that:
-An item i bought came in today and i have major buyers remorse. T_T UGLY.
-A seller 'was mistaken'/lied about the condition of an item i overbid on.
-I have no car and can't go grab my bank statement from the mail so mom doesn't see it.
-I feel bad about that last part.

Too bad we can't call for a no-fly zone to solve the server issues. I don't know what hole to fix anymore as links are broken but files are there and I'm going to leave well enough alone.

And now I have to figure out a rescue plan for a teen in need? My nephew has slipped into complete apathy and sinking in a morass of probelms not of his own making and parents are in denial and no one is listening to sense.

Thank the gods for that since that sort of intervention only creates even more problems lol!

There an expert in to look at various issues and Skool and I will record a special Quackcast interview tonight with Lawrence to address various concerns.

User profiles are back and the broken image thing seems a very simple error so hopefully that won't be difficult to fix.
What I REALLY want back though is the sidebar stuff like faves, news and comic controls. :(

I think I have a sinus infection, on Sunday night the bridge of my nose started hurting in an odd way, like it had been injured. Monday it got stronger all day and today it started out weak but I'm feeling it now. It feels like it ought to be all bruised up or something. I can't tell if it's actually kind of pink and swollen or if it's my imagination though. Anyway my nose hurts.

But I'm feeling pretty good today. :] Work will not be too busy this month, which should mean I get to catch up on some stuff I've had to put off. And at the end of the month, the UK has a random assortment of holidays, add the royal wedding day into the mix and it turns out I take off the 26-28th, I get an 11-day vacation. Awesome. I'm really looking forward to that.

My work laptop had windows 7 reinstalled on it today though to fix lots of problems, so far the reinstalling programs bit has gone well but I'm really hoping there's no problem with my tablet or anything. Also they upgraded some of my programs like Word and Photoshop, so I've got CS4 now instead of CS3, and it looks fairly different…

Anyway we just had a nice skype chat with Lawrence and that should be put out as a "special edition" podcast within the next 24 hours, all about the site issues and what's been going on at their end, and what to look forward to!

I love my wife, but she loves to read in bed. Normally this isn't a problem. Except, she reads out load. It helps her comprehend books or get more into the story (obviously depending on the subject matter of said book)

oooooh and god bless it's bed time. but no.
———-

I bought race seats and i keep checking the website to see if they've shipped (about every 5 minutes)

But they haven't even charged me yet. I think they don't have them in stock.

My fiance plays videogames when I try to sleep. Somehow I sleep through them. I have yelled at him to turn off the tv in my sleep though (after it being off for a bit)

In other news. I'm at my teacher's workplace for a week long internship. The good: She knows and and what I'm capable of. The bad: This counts for a grade in two separate classes. Rather than just one that the rest of the class has. The Worse: The place is almost 1 hour and 15 minutes away (on a good day) through the worst traffic in the area and on a toll road.

Wow… I've got this offer from Nintendo. If I buy Pokemon Black/White I can get some special Pokemon named Victini or something. Only one problem… I don't play Pokemon that much. Now if Nintendo and Natsume put out a new Harvest Moon game and offered a special animal for the farm… or even better a cute plush sheep, chicken or cow I'd probably bite. Probably… :)

Wow i got a pretty positive reception with a pokemon comic idea i put up. Livejournal has a nice community, i feel bad that reading about the dramawhores on there put me off it for so long.

But i'm optimistic about finishing it since the art style is easy.

That reminds me of one time when we were playing Billy Bragg in the car with my little sister asleep in the back seat, and she yelled at my dad twice to stop singing. : P

Fuck. I just wish I had more.
Need a job!!!
You're telling me, man. I hope I've saved enough to be able to afford the fuel to get to school for the rest of the semester, I'm cutting it pretty close this month. I'm gonna try to find a proper full-time job over the summer.

Not being able to go out is seriously driving me batshit crazy though, it sucks to not have money. I think if the neighbor loudly trims his lawn anymore I'm gonna go out there and just furiously throw herbicide on it whilst glaring forbiddingly at him.

Usually, setting aside time for keeping up with my little comic is akin to guarding a secret treasure, where you can polish up the silver and see it shine a little more.

but there's so much shitty life stuff happening right now that there seems to be no time. something screams for attention and before you can resolve it, another big-mouth brat comes along. FUCK!

I might as well just schedule some poor-me time, cry it out, and hopefully move on because the usual stiff-upper-lip crap aint workin. I'm just kinda worried I won't stop crying once I start.

If there's anybody who reads my comic, sorry, I just don't see it happening this week.

nothing fatal - just , you know. DAMN!

Have a job interview in two hours. Super nervous. I shouldn't be, because it's basically the job I have now but at a different place, so I know I'll do just fine.
Also, I'm either very cold or terrified or both because I can't stop shivering. : (

Huzzah! my rant is going to be right on par with no job/no money!

So, if you get a job, you get paid. I signed a contract that says i will work without money, Which may very well happen. I'll still be required to go in, and do nothing, all day, only to turn around and go home. I'm glad i bought a bike.

I doubt it will happen, but whatever. I'm good for a month or so.
