I haven't had much time to really delve into MAG-ISA, but from what I've seen so far, the comic is very good at provoking a real strong reader response- this strip in particular being a pondering reminder- those who do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat it- or worse. Great work!

This week on Dueling Heroes- Effex may have gotten past Paranoious and Scareflare, but now comes a challenge he didn't even begin to account for- fitting back in.

Redux: Did you just update? Tell us why someone should visit your comic. But ONLY AFTER commenting about the comic BEFORE yours. ^_^
You'll probably want to work on your perspective; your sidewalks will look straighter and your high-angle shots less awkward. Also, some of your character movements are more than a little stiff, but then again I often run into the same problem.

In this update of Frontier: 2170, "I call upon you, my comrades, to stand up to the Oppressors from Earth and say, 'enough is enough!'"
@Tantz Aerine: The colors in you comic are very interesting. How do you do them? They look kinda like markers…but not. Like clean markers. I assume they are digital, yes? If so, what's your favorite brush to work with?

Cool fight scene in the recent pages, btw. OOooo, and please elaborate on the cops “manhandling” you! Haha! Dirty rotten pigs….
-
@D Comix: Thanks! Oh man, I used to love King of the Hill. It got a little preachy in the later seasons (well, I guess it was always a bit preachy), but it was certainly always one of the best animate shows.

I know I posted recently, but And To Be Loved just went through a HUGE change! WE ARE NOW DOING COLOR! So I was compelled to post again lol.
ATBL-what a page to switch to color!hahaha! and it looks great! i like how the one before it was gradually switching over and then the next one's fully colored. started reading from the begning of the chapter too and i love R. he's such a shit!haha! keep it up!
also thank you for your kind words about BR. Tantz does all the coloring on the pages and she does a great job!
PUTRID MEAT- the escappees a starting to resemble tuna in a tin can. only two weeks into what could be a very long journey for them back to Septica.
Got to admit your artwork is different from most of what we
see on the Duck. Still, man, you story is at a depressing point. ;p

my comic is … umm … well… kind of funny :/
Ah…alright just looked at your comic had to read through it since I couldn't really get what it was about through just the update.
It was good. I sort of got vibes that you might have had some deeper message there but I couldn't really pick it up. But that's mostly me I'm a "the cigar's just a cigar kind of guy even when I'm not super super drowsy like now.
The art style was simple kind of rough but not in a bad way reminded sort when first saw Adventure time with Fin and Jake.
The content was dryly funny, with taste that was kind of like monty python mixed with american dad mixed with maybe kafka.
Don't hold kafka thing against it might just be giant cockroach throwing me for a loop.
Any way like I said your was good and enjoyable and quickread though their seemed to be some repition or were those edits…again very very drowsy.
Any…..I'd give you four and a half out five if they had a rating system. There were a few points where I missed jokes because I couldn't read them….or is that just my fading vision…ha…ha… the family was funny though I would have like to get to know them better.
And there was a limit to the coherency between the work scenes.
It felt more like a comic strip then a book, which it might have been in which case I'm an idiot and it's not a problem….
On to my comic.
You are here and other cosmic jokes is an incoherent and mostly nonsensical comic where a newly ressurected immortal magician bums it up at his tightly wound summon monsters apartment in a world where science and magic have finally reached a singularity. All of it just in time for the world's shady lofts and seedy underbellies to bring out the end of their brave new world. In theory I'm hoping for good mix of laughs and action. I just started it up actually. Five opening pages and one thats should be more representative of what I'm trying to do with the comic. The art might suck please bear with it. I promise it'll get better that's one of the main reason's I'm writting the comic. That and also to get a good feel of whether I prefer to write and draw or just write.
The drama leaps off the page- the emotion is done amazingly well and it really does show the coldness of this particular sect of the 'good guys'. When it boils down to it, they will do whatever it takes to survive, and it's number one first. Absolutely great work.

This week, on Dueling Heroes, while things cool off after our heroes' (mis)adventures, in darkness appear familar faces.
The backgrounds on todays page of Frontier are very neat and I know this doesnt have anything to do with todays update but the dialogue leading up to this page gives it a technical but menacing air
Today Ive begun the third chapter of "the Living Thirteen" and the sirens are blaring! http://www.drunkduck.com/13live/5395108/
13live is a great black and white comic, The thing i like most is how well you are able to keep the artwork and layout so neat and tidy while using a scratchy style. Although i can;t quite tell whether the comic is done digitally or not, (i think it isnt but who knows) it has a very organic and natural feel and i think alot of webcomics these miss that.
www.drunkduck.com/internity - Our protaganist has awakened
Internity is off to a great start with a very artistic and distinct layout for the prologue pages before digging into the story.
Hellrazer: The Chronicles of Rachel Strand (www.drunkduck.com/Hellrazer_the_Series) just updated Friday with the first page in our Free Comic Book Day story, a flashback tale, but we have three complete stories up preceding it.
And what great reads they all are. The composition with the last two panels of the newest page are "dead" on with the razor in one and then the hooded eyes in the next. You know what they plan to do to the girl.

Battle of the Robofemoids continues as the Aordian ship tries to fend off the attacking robofemoids. Lasers and a dogfight against the vastness of space. George Lucas eat your heart out.
http://www.drunkduck.com/Battle_of_the_Robofemoids/5393601/
Battle of the Robofemoids is a comic that makes creative use of toys and dolls as the main set up for the characters, backgrounds and the props of the story. Set up in a post apocalyptic/sci-fi world where most all men are gone extinct, and women are hunted and replaced with androids called 'ROBOFEMOIDS' When questioned why these Robofemoids are semi nude, they simply reply that they 'Must simply remain stripped to the waist for opimal operation of crystalline conduits and to satisfy grey guy obsession'
Lol, I'll be honest and say I've only read till Aftermath 04, and then skip to read the latest chp update, looks like our gang have arrived at the planet Aordia, the planet with a reputation of having the biggest average bust size in the galaxy. Seems like this comic has a lot of heavy booby content, which I think is pretty fine.
If you're looking for a not-your-average sci-fi comedy with lots of boobies, Battle of the Robofemoids is definitely what you don't want to miss!

I know this is a little too early, but just want to give a shout out to the DD community that The Mannequin Waltz is still alive and a remake is in the works. Preview just up today, 4/6/2012.
@theshazerin After seeing the latest page of MW today, I got really into your comic because it looked so professional. I like the main character Ruby and the story kinda remindes me of Avatar the last airbender. I say that because it seems if Ruby is the reincarnation of Anna Belle, the schwartz child.

Sorry for the short absence because my internet was off, but now I'm back with an update of Mad Chicken; Froggix sees the fish tank Gerald has in his room. Wonder what this discovery could lead to. I also revised the pages of chapter one for Skooland, so now the pages are more readable than before.
I really like the shading work with the pencilling on Mad Chicken Auto. You also do a nice job on the backgrounds too. Manny and Froggix are really cute.

In the latest update of Karen"s Edge, Karen's responds (rather violently) to Goodwin's refusal to help her. http://www.drunkduck.com/Karens_Edge/5395356/
Interesting use of humor in what appears to be a desperate situation, although what I really like is the detail work and the shading.

In this update of Frontier: 2170, we begin a new chapter! No, I'm not switching to color; it's just something special I do for the title pages.
I really like how dramatic the page is, Mangaka! Definitely sets the stage for more space battle- which…is pretty hard to run out of fun with! I really like almost everything about the page, except the number part of the title- I think it's a brilliant idea, and maybe if you were to darken the background of the numbers a little (or make the font orange for just the numbers?), it would stand out a lot more. Totally digging the lens flare on it though!

In Dueling Heroes, Browning's dark work continues, working with the mysterious red devices seen through the city. Something isn't right…
For Dueling Heroes: It is the dialogue that brings the whole page alive in this one, while the vibrant colors give the feel of some sort of otherworldly procedure and/or reaction going on. The sketchy feel of everything else allows the reader to focus on that.

Brave Resistance updates today with Nikos abundantly using the Lord's name in vain.
Brave Resistance http://www.drunkduck.com/Brave_Resistance/ once again blows me away with it's storytelling! Great job Tantz!
My comic Roll 4 Damage http://www.drunkduck.com/Roll_4_Damage/ although less dramatic, still may end with something getting squashed.
Roll 4 damage is a very peculiar gag a day comic that puts a nice new spin on the whole table-top-roleplaying-spoof genre. With a very clever mix of photography and illustration, a comic about dice seem to be keeping me entertained.

Internity is still new but in this update we get a nice glimpse further into the story
http://www.drunkduck.com/Internity
I’ve never seen a comic on notebook paper with great artwork
like yours. That and some of my favorite video game characters are in you
comic. Still, have to ask you to make your lettering bigger some times. I had
that problem at first.
As for my comic, well, it will make you feel better about
yours ;}
