Granted, you get glasses. Then the world ends, and you are the only one left alive. But you can still read the books. And then your glasses break. But you can still read the large-texted books. But then your eyeballs fall out. But you can still read the braile. But then your hands fall off.

Granted, but the toaster is defective and it burns everything to charcoal. You try to fix it and you get your fingers toasted. You try to fix them, but they snap off.

I wish for a magic carpet. :P
