How come the fat chicks are always smiling and the thin chicks always look so godamn miserable?

Thin chicks have to work harder and have more expected from them than fat chicks.

Well that immense last minute rewrite is coming along and now I have to spread parts of it out over the whole story arc.

And the characters are more interesting than the ones they replaced.

True; who can relax with all those sharp corners to watch out for.

I always chop a cheesecake in half; one for me and one for mrs me. That way, we only ever have one slice and still feel good.

Fuckin hungry.

It's just not worth it! The only way is to chainsmoke - get thin, lose your appetite and can't afford cheesecake.

That's my old dew rag around the guy's neck in my gag Pepsi ad.
Hooray!
And it's fine.
But I wasn't really talking about that aspect…

My angle was that the pattern on the Aussie scarves (as well as the way they choose to wear them), is quite similar to the traditional Arab ones (although in green instead of red or black). But as far as ACTUAL Arab headdress go, I prefer the older style to the modern Arab style- longer cloth on the head, double row of cord around it, pulled much lower, as opposed to the current style where it just seems to perch like a hat. :)
Way t' harsh my nonconformity. ;)
That's the trouble with nonconformity- you have to keep on non-conforming to it. ^_^

Argh, only two pages yesterday…

Well, I pencilled most of the third one, but it doesn't count as it's not complete yet :P

Overall 25 pages are done and if'm lucky, today I'll manage four (since the first one just needs some fixes on 2 panels, overall tightening of pencils andthen inks).

- - - - -
I was watching nuclear armageddon films yesterday, FIVE of them (while drawing the pages, that's why I was slower, haha). I'm not talking here about things that go "blah blah blah years after war, no rain, everything's a desert, bikers in studded leather roaming the wastelands on bikes that eat as much fuel as a tank does"….

no, I'm talking about things "this is the result of the bombs hitting and this is what it does to human body, to the cities, to our society and how we'll fall back into primitive state afterwards most likely". So yeah, "cheerful" cinema :P

…actually, I think I could make that one a post in the media section?

Dude, how do you think I keep my girlish figure? It's my special diet of coffee and cigarettes.

Although I do buy entire chocolate cakes and eat them within the week. Which is why my figure is more "womanish" than "girlish", come to think of it. lol!

Womanish is good! :)

Rant: Please people, stop blurring your backgrounds - it doesn't look like a cool photographic effect, it looks like you can't be bothered to draw backgrounds.

I had to talk to some counselor woman over the phone this morning. It was awful, I felt like she was diagnosing me with a headache or something…like I was just unhappy teenage girl # 374483679.
"and then a family member killed themself."
"I see. And this was hard on your family?"

No shit. Seriously, does it hurt to use a little warmth? I don't want to talk to her any more.

Who is more trustworthy?

a) The obvious quack "psychic" with a crystal ball who is surrounded by all sorts of new-agey "feel good" videos and audios and charges lots of money for his/her products and services.

b) The snake-oil quackery vaccines of Big Pharma.

I pick letter A. Because at least, you get entertained and your condition wont worsen.

Actually if you don't get something treated, it CAN(and probably will) worsen. So that's not the best logic. Although I do agree with the entertainment bit.

So that's not the best logic. Although I do agree with the entertainment bit.
What's not the best logic is really something like phrasing an either-or question out of two options that are neither mutually exclusive nor portrayed as desirable.

I mean, in a nutshell, Mr. Kyupol's question is kind of like asking yourself whether you'd RATHER fracture your arm or your leg by purposely putting it in a bear trap. You couldn't avoid both options…? o_O

He's in the hospital now. The emergency room. And he has to stay overnight.

And I'm scared to death.

my dad was diagnosticated yesterday with high blood pressure and they told us we can't get him mad.

Jesus man i'm sorry, i'm sure he'll be alright though, he has a big hospital of people that aren't quack psychics to attend to him if anything goes wrong- he's just fine :)

So my stupid uncle is staying with us, URRRRGHH. He's in trouble with the law, which thank god is just because he was camping in a forest w/out papers and not some pedophile or exhibitionist shit. That's the one thing i like about my family is that there's no really fucked fuckers like my friends families.

I wanna play with his dog tho >w> I haven't touched a dog since sassy died. Maybe i'll sneak over when he's away, i dun want him to think i'm *shudders* …encouraging him to stay longer. D;

How lame is it to go to a movie on your own? Because I kind of want to start doing that.

I hope you don't lose your father Ryu. i know how that is, and it sucks major, so good luck to you and him…

———-

so thursday i busted my toe right? swelled up nice and big, couldn't run on it. hurt like nobody's buisness. tonight i was walking around, at TKD, and i tripped on a bubble in the mat. slammed my toe hard against the floor. there was a loud POP. and my toe hurt like nobody's buisness. began to think about going to the doctor (lol, the doctor) and then bam. no pain, nothing. i think it was just knocked outta place, and then i popped it back into place.

i also used weights while doing forms and such. it was pain. but i loved it. am i sadistic? maybe. but anyone else who enjoys working out, will know what i mean.

also, my anniversary is in two weeks, and alls i have planned is that i wont be working for 2 days.

Am i the only one that thinks these are the worst speech bubbles on the planet?
You're right, it is impossible to blow bubbles that shape - they are more like speech cubicles. Perhaps we could call them 'speech bastards'?
