That sounds like the russian game about the diseased town thingy place… actually I'm not clear really on what the plot was (bad translation), it seemed like it might be cool, but your experience pretty much describes mine. I didn't make it far. :/

That is exactly the one. I actually thought the translation was deliberate at first, trying to add to the general fucked-upness of the place.

The thing is, I really want to get through it. It's the first game I've ever even heard of that has the balls to deliberately make the player feel like a worthless, helpless, piece of shit and the idea amazes me.

I'm actually gushing about it in nearly every conversation I have and I haven't even been able to start the first quest because the Hoririaicosioaier or whatever starts with almost no health and everyone in the town he's supposed to be saving out for his blood because they think he's a murderer. That's the impact it's had on me.

I really should stop playing because it's making my blood pressure raise to dangerous levels, but I just can't put it down. Whenever I'm not playing it I feel like part of my life is missing. I've honestly never felt this way about anything before. Kind of nerdy that it's a game that did it first.

Sunday, I heard someone say they didn't believe in dinosaurs.

Like… I know their bones exist, but they weren't in the bible… so like, I think their bones were just put into the ground, but they never actually lived.

I didn't even know it was something you couldn't believe in. Worst part is, while I was staring at her like she had three heads, others were nodding in agreement, like it was a perfectly normal thing.

I just can't comprehend this. I can draw a human being or any other object perfectly fine from my mind or with a photo, and make it look realistic, but the moment I try to draw from life, I'm back to drawing like a brain-damaged 4th grader. It's pissing me off. I can draw from life if I get an hour or two of warming up, and a pose that I find attractive and interesting to draw, to do it. I just want to be able to do it right the first time around, on the freaking projects, when it actually matters.

i'm pissed at the wife. she got her game Aeion. i asked her not to, cause the last online RPG she got, she spent 12+ hours a day playing it. she'd go to class, come home sit at the computer and play. then she'd complain that she had no friends and that she never went anywhere. then she blamed me, for not taking her to parties, which she turned down, so she could raid dungeons or something.
i was afraid that it was going to turn into that. but she assured me she wouldnt. and here we are 3 weeks later, and she's coming home from work, and going straight to the computer, i'm cooking dinner, doing the laundry and dishes. and when asked why she doesn't help "because i just got off work". well i work too. and on the day's she's not working, she stays up till 4 am playing, and wakes up at 10. still doesn't do any chores. and starts playing again. "it's my day off" well on my day off i do the chores go to the gym, and spend an hour or two on the computer.

i'm so pissed at her right now.

It's weird how I feel my most confident and my happiest in a night gown with no make up and wet hair. I guess that's when I feel the most natural.

No more stressing out tonight, cause my work for this week is d-o-n-e. Procrastion is fun, but not procrasiating and getting stuff done is a great feeling.

so it's official!IM A FRAGGIN FIRE FIGHTER! i took my psysical and am now just waiting for my glasses to come in [failed the eye exam]. i've gotten my gear and my beeper. i'm starting as ecterior now and after my schooling's done i'll level up to interior fire fighter.

I had a crappy time during a group presentation this morning. Yesterday, I sent in my part of the presentation at 5pm. Near 7, my teammate said that it wasn't going to work and redo it. So I got it sent in again by 9. But when I got to class this morning, my group mate told me, "oh we just went ahead and wrote it ourselves."

So I did all that work for nothing. And I had planned out what I was going to say, but with the entire new script I stammered like a fool. The only part I did good one was the one part they didn't change.

I HATE group work.

big axe eh ozone? haha, well i did catch myself eyeballing that on the inside of the door of the tanker.
man it was wicked! i just went in to turn in the results of my psysical and i ended up getting my gear, beeper, learned how to open and close the hydrants and helped a little with testing the hoses at the pump house! the president/deputy fire police officer died that morning though, so the mood was a little sad. he actually lived right next door to me, about the general store. his beeper'd be going off at night all the time,and you could hear it from his window, guess now it'll be commin from my window!haha.

i know these thins can be hard to get into.think i caught a break cuase this is a small town volunteer department.i think it's somewhat more informal then the big city stations,so i can see how it'd be a pain out there.

So much for being able to draw a page before I go to the gym.

My plan was to come home, get my homework done, eat, draw a page for Ryu's Krew, then go to the gym.
My actual plan was, come home, eat, get my homework done, and take a nap.

Ugh.
I'm also heavily considering participating in the 24 hour comics event this Saturday. I'd just be doing it at home, but I'd be using twitter, lots of coffee, and being on AIM all while I did. I'm still not sure if I am. Most likely. :P All depends on how I feel, etc, etc.

I suppose I'll get my stuff together for the gym, and at least get the page started. Then I'll try to do more when I get home or whatever, then take out the trash.

I'd do that before hand but…

..but…

Yeah, I'll do that before I go. :P

5 days now with only 11 hours of sleep. God I want to sleep so bad. These projects are kicking my ass, and we're not even to midterms quite yet. Just gotta make it till the end of class at 10 tonight and I might be able to crash for a while if I can get caught up during class.

Although, it is kind of fun being permanently drunk minus the bad judgment skills all day long.

man, skip a class or something if you have to. you wont fuckin fail. yer gonna get yourself sick and then you'll REALLY be in a world of hurt. take a fuckin break soon. i know it's easier said than done, but if you can do it,do it. if there's stress or something else keeping you from sleeing when you need to, get it checked out.i'm serious lba.
