I've had a job for about a month now. ^_^ Just a seasonal position but yay for a job!!!

I'm an interpreter at a state park. My job is to design and present all the programs for the public – like seminars, nature walks, wagon rides, etc. I like it so far. I spend most of my days reading, walking in the woods, watching videos, browsing the internet, and brainstorming. It's weird meeting all the crazy fanatic Civil War buffs (the park is the site of a Civil War battle), but it's entertaining too.

Plus, I get paid twice as much as my last job, which was in a grocery store deli. Before the deli gig (like doing time in a greasy hell…), I was a full time graduate student.

I'm a chef, of sorts… or as I prefer a 'Culinary Arsonist'.

Prior to that I was training to be an Art teacher…

Prior to that I did pretty much anything to make a buck…

and before that I was at art school!

I guess you could say I've had plenty of Joe Jobs but nothing you could call a career…

I'm a student, but right now I'm working full time at a hardware store and doing illustration/graphic design and gallery work part time. I'd probably be doing art full time, but I don't have the facilities to work with at my parents house and I'm saving for school next year.

I'm an I.T. manager at a car dealership. Essentially, in a workforce of 150 people, I'm the only one that knows anything about computers here, so anything and everything electronic falls upon my shoulders.

Some days, I have all day long to read comics, play internet games and goof off. Other days, I'm wiping computers clean because some idiot uninstalled his antivirus and nuked the crap out of his computer.

Former retail manager, public works employee and killer of people and breaker of things. My profession is Teacher of social studies who hopes to go back to teaching.

Currently a third shift security guard in a senior apartment tower and I build custom miniatures. Anybody want any figures or models built, I'm your man.

Usedbooks, if the battlefield you work at needs any scale dioramas built… maybe a battle scene with a few hundred small scale figures?

Employed at a motorcycle store and in fast food. They're not very well staffed at either, so it's hard to say what my actual position is.

I'm a high school student and I'm about to graduate. I'm actually looking to start publishing my own comics once I start officially writing them out and fleshing them out. But yeah, high school's my deal as of now.

My job until last week was and entry-level job as a debt collector and repo man. Basically I made sure cusomters paid for their shit, and managed credit for a full route (which covered some of Nevada, Utah, and Arizona, although I was in charge of half of the Utah region and all servicable areas in Arizona). If cusomters didnt pay I would send them to more professional debt collectors (which is where it stopped being store debt and became actual debt), or I would take them to court, where I would personally appear against them.

I would suggest this job to anyone. You dont need any knowledge of debt, collections, repo, any of that. They train you on everything, they pump your mind so full of shit that you'll have crap popping out of your ears. And they pay you 12.65 an hour starting out on entry-level, with full health and dental benefits.

Scraping the rust off playground equipment, and inspecting the little plastic thingies on the end of show-laces., are my two specialties. ( Momma always said I'd amount to nuthin'. I guess I proved her wrong!!! Rising above negative circumstances is what I do best!!!

Graphic artist etc… -_-
It's funny, when I was a little teeny kiddy I thought being a graphic artist and having heaps of computers and all that stuff would be cool!
It's not.

I'm hitting my senior year in high school (or grade 12 as we Canadians call it), so there are some jobs lined up for me for the Summer. Help out my mom with her insurance job which I have no interest in. There's also cut grass (mine and an elderly relative's lawn=$$$!), split and pile firewood, and work on my webcomic. I won't have many dull moments this Summer

My dad used to manage a video store…i used to be his window washer (I got $10 a window…they were huge windows)
I also got to pick out the candy he sold at the front desk
but he closed down the store and now I'm jobless (I'm a student so it doesn't really matter)
