It's alive!

Ayesinback recently pointed out that many of our favourite comics are still dormant after the Duck’s recent alcohol-induced coma. This thread is for sharing comics that are updating again already, to “find homes for jilted readers” as ayes put it. :)

Feel free to share your own comic or just some of your favourites!

I don’t have my own comic to promote, so I’ll get the ball rolling with one of my all-time favourite comics, which has updated several times since we got the site back up:
DENIZENS! ATTENTION!

Thanks for starting this thread, Hippie Van!

I'm happy to report that several of my favorites have been updating, including DD classics* like:
Charby the Vampirate  https://next.theduckwebcomics.com/Charby_the_Vampirate/
Culture Shock https://next.theduckwebcomics.com/Culture_Shock
Danielle Dark https://next.theduckwebcomics.com/Danielle_Dark/
grin n spirit https://next.theduckwebcomics.com/grin_n_spirit/
public humiliation https://next.theduckwebcomics.com/public_humiliation/
PUTRID MEAT https://next.theduckwebcomics.com/PUTRID_MEAT/ , and
Used Books https://next.theduckwebcomics.com/Used_Books/

And if they aren’t yet classics, they will be:

Banes’s very funny Typical Strange https://next.theduckwebcomics.com/Typical_Strange/ has finished a story line and will be starting a new issue any day now (no pressure, Banes).

Call Me Tom’s Todd Sweets https://next.theduckwebcomics.com/Todd_Sweets/5444014/ has been re-resurrected (which it has done a number of times).

TheGhost’s amazing Monster Soup https://next.theduckwebcomics.com/Monster_Soup/5445166/ has had several great updates since the Crash of 2013 (ignore the date stamp date, because it’s just not right).

And the evocative Without Moonlight https://next.theduckwebcomics.com/Without_Moonlight/  even though Tantz Aerine has had more than a Duck Crash to challenge her updating.

Last, even though it’s not updating anymore, because it’s Complete, readers might like to catch the 2013 DD Radio Play comic https://next.theduckwebcomics.com/2013_DD_Radio_Play/5433567/ because it features some of the best work of some of the Best DDers and is plain wonderful and delightful. Indeed. And maybe with a clamor of insisting DD voices, the radio play ITSELF might make the air waves …

*DD classics = established gems before I even knew about DD.
PS: With the new domain name, I’m at a loss as to how to make links – hence all those attractive urls.

Yeesh, I didn't even realize my link wasn't working!

It looks like you can make links work by erasing the "http://" at the beginning of the url. No idea why.

The adult comic M.Organ Art has been updating weakly. (Not a typo, sadly, I've haven't had enough time lately to finish comics once a week.)

A comic that I wish would just go away still updates every Monday and Wednesday.  It's the link on the upper left down on the bottom of this post.  Now please continue not reading it and please explain to me why it was nominated for all those DD awards if it isn't worth reading.  It keeps me awake at night and my wife really wants me to stop tossing and turning because it's keeping her up and she needs her sleep.

Looking forward to hearing that Radio Play.
(and Character Development is updating).
(Also, next year I'll put up a new regular webcomic that is actually drawn by me.)

Aw. Thanks. That means a lot to me. (I still feel like a newbie, tbh.)

ugh!!  i hope this time the site stays up an unobtrusive for more than a few months.  i can live with dominoes ads.
i'm glad to see that the site is back online (for now)……i'm not even sure what the heck is going on with this place anymore!!  I've had so many problems with the site over the past few years, ole POWERJEFF has just collected cobwebs here.
since this thread is to promote resurrection, if any of POWERJEFF's old readers see this, we're making moves to publish the story into volumed graphic novels.  and if you're a jerk like me, you're already thinking "why would i want to pay for the printed version when i can get it for free?"  last year, when DD was having issues, Jason of Powerjeff and myself were working on a subseries entitled "POWERJEFF: GAIDEN" that would entail adventures of the PJ gang in highschool.  over the past year, we've decided to take those "GAIDEN" stories and work them in to the first 4 chapters and in essence, create a whole NEW POWERJEFF experience.
it still contains all the same randomness and chaos and early 90s references, but now with more Chia!!!
it will be a couple months before we're ready to pull back the curtain, but if you were ever mildly interested in POWERJEFF, or if you've just now heard about this steaming pile of excrement of a comic….NOW is the time to get on board!

Ok. So a few comics I'm working on will be revived soon.
First off, Ice Pick (unless Niccea decides not to revive it yet) https://next.theduckwebcomics.com/Ice_Pick/
Nectar of the Gods will be continued https://next.theduckwebcomics.com/Nectar_of_the_Gods/
And reboot on Poseidon's Path (no link yet)
and starting another comic perhaps… or two.
OVERLY AMBITIOUSNESS!

I like it that culture shock is updating again. And Modest Medusa is still pretty awesome.
