So my dog's left leg is messed up somehow. she's wobbly and she falls down sometimes.
I have no clue what's wrong with her the leg was a bit stiff but she didn't show pain or react when i moved/massaged it. Shit it's probably her bones….

I'm not a vet but whatever may be causing that can't be good or normal. It's possible the poor girl is in a lot of pain. You should bring her in just to find out what is wrong, there are usually more options than 'put her to sleep' and you don't have to do what your vet says if you don't agree with it. On the other hand, sometimes letting a dog go is the best thing for them, depending on their condition. Wanting to keep a pet alive beyond the point where the animal is enjoying life or can do basic functions themselves is just selfish on the owner's part.

I don't want to go to work today, I want to stay home and be sick at home :[

Do it ;)

I Am SO hanging out for my holidays… I'm sick of getting up and going in to work every damn day… I don't want to do it any longer.
Plus, this week the Royal Show is on, so the trains are packed out with… idiots. And I have to stand all the way. AND the train doesn't stop at my station so I have to walk to the next one every morning and walk home from there in the afternoon. Thank goodness Monday was a public holiday so I had one day less of that. Still two days to go though. D:

Yeah i will be doing that later this week, it's gonna be damn expensive though, but it's not like i need the money for anything. I mean shit i spent 50$ on hair products the other day.-_-

EDIT: She's running along fine now :P It was probably just from her being in heat. I'll keep an eye out if it happens more tho.
yaaay

Another rant is googles searches have been really shitty for the past months, they used to always bring up the best websites, now they bring up useless crap websites and deadends.
Tell me about it. I had one awesome moment last week where I found an image that was exactly what I wanted, ( Who knew there were so many images of chimps holding guns on google? ) but after that I haven't been able to find anything I need. And none of my usual sources of images like morguefile and istockphoto have been getting me results either.

I broke my brand new sound canceling headphones that I paid $80 ( They were the cheapest ones I could get that met the requirements I need. ) for after having them a week. I don't know why I thought it would be a good idea to put them in the bottom of my bag. I must have been having a serious dumbass moment there. But, the company I got them from is being seriously awesome and sending me a new pair because they were a new model and they want feedback on them. Once in a while, I get lucky and it reminds me of how awesome people can be.

My digital multimedia class is driving me crazy. I've skipped two classes(I know, I'm bad) already but I'm still so far ahead that today I did nothing but stare blankly at my computer screen. My teacher is ridiculous. His idea of teaching us is giving us the url to a photoshop tutorial and telling us to follow it. And he gets me and the other student at my level to answer the other kids' questions. I actually don't know what he does all class, or what he's doing teaching a class when teaching is obviously something he hates. And I'm pretty sure I know more about photoshop than he actually does.

Also, I think my headphones are broken(we're broken headphone twins, Iba!). Or something is broken. When I try to listen to music, it sounds all off, like the music coming into one of the ears is WAY too quiet. When I'm listening to "Hello, Goodbye" I can only hear one of the parts. I'm worried that my headphones may have fallen on the floor and then gotten rolled over by my chair. It will make me so sad if I can't fix them somehow. I love my headphones, but I know that if they're broken my mother won't let my dad get me another pair because they were expensive and she hates them because I can't hear anything when I'm wearing them(my favourite thing about them).

That's because one of the stereo channels isn't coming through. All you're getting is one stereo channel and the centre sound, hence the quiet sound in one ear (the centre sound that goes to both). That could be a fault in the wiring inside the ear cups, but it's usually caused by something wrong with the jack that you plug into the computer/HiFi/mp3 player or whatever.

Try cleaning it and also try twiddling it around in whatever its plugged into while you're listening and see if the sound comes back. Also, try plugging it into different things and see if that makes a difference.

That reminds me of the Futurama episode where the hat makes the monkey smart and they let him go to Mars University. At one point the hat was taken off, and when he's trying to put it back on (as a stupid monkey) he can't figure out where the hat should go.

He tried wearing the hat on his butt.

So yes, try plugging it into different things!

Oh hey so today, I was supposed to be doing a performance in drama, so I walk in to the drama hall, walk up to the group I was preforming with, and they say "You're not in our group anymore"
:\
Awful kind of them giving me a heads up so I could perhaps find out if I could've done a solo piece.

Dicks.

Ha, it turns out it was just loose! I was about to try the "twiddling around" thingy, only when I did I realized that it was partially pulled out. It sounds just fine now. :D I'd feel stupid but I'm just glad I found out what was wrong before I went and got a new pair or something stupid like that.

Some colleges offer reduced-cost family housing for their students :) They are usually apartments, but might be worth looking into if you have a mid-to-large city college/university around…

Ugh, I am so tired. I have spent many hours on Drunk Duck this month. And I want to play Silent Hill this weekend but that doesn't come out in the UK for months yet. :[

My little sister is having a nightmare…a couple times she's said stuff like "Help!" in her sleep so I go in there and I'm like "It's okay, Ali's here," and I hope she can hear me or something but it makes me really sad. It's really late for her so I don't want to wake her up out of it.

Yay! My yearly ritual has begun. Every school year my immune system allows me to get sick only once or twice, but it wipes me out so heavily that people think I'm drunk and incoherent when they see me.

And now it has begun for 2008-09, which is a good deal because I was hoping to get all my puking and sleeplessness out of the way early. Now all I have to do is spend my entire three days of the weekend I could be getting homework done and relaxing curled up on my couch trying to see how small of a ball I can make myself into. Last year I set a record of being only 23" in diameter when I got the flu, and I'm hoping I can break it this year with nothing more than a common cold. Maybe if I'm lucky it'll turn out to be meningitis this year and I can really suck it in with the extra pain!

The sad part is, I'm not really being all that sarcastic. I kind of really do look forward to getting being sick over with each year.

First off…my great uncle died today. Around 7AM in England. So, I'm bummed about that. He was awesome and eccentric as hell, probably how I'll be at his age.

Second off, I'm a little miffed about not having a great idea of where to take this girl on our second actual date this Sunday. She has prior arrangements until around 4PM with her family and the museums around here close at 5PM on Sundays, so that's out. I know she'll be happy to do whatever I decide and I just want to spend some time with her. With our schedules, it's been difficult to get face time, so we talk as much as we can.

Bowling would be fun, but she's going on Saturday with her family. We're going to the little amusement park place on Tuesday.

Are there any bands playing? Music performances of some kind? You could see if there are any plays on, go to an art gallery… There are always heaps of small art galleries everywhere, one might have an opening on, maybe even with stuff you like showing. :)

Or you could do something fun like going to a big toyshop, or maybe just have lunch at a pleasant restaurant, maybe near the beach :)

You gotta get word of your comic out, the readers wont come to you, you gotta draw them in ;)

My rant is how fast midterm came up, i swear it feels like last week that i started school. -_- Also there's this one guy in my class who's got this huge malformed head and creepy black eyes that bug out, right before class starts he's always going 'this class fucking sucks, it's fuckin' stupid man' so the whole class can hear it. I have a feeling he wont make it to next semester.
