@alwinbot… sentiments shared

Oye, so after 3 years of writing I'm finally doing the final edit of my novel I'm going to publish… admittedly I'm super excited by this and can't believe I actually made it this far but the part that bugs me is how long this final edit seems to be taking… I mean it took me THREE YEARS to write this thing and this past week of editing has just dragged by as if it's been decades?!?! Does anyone else ever have that where the last spurt of a project always seems to be the hardest?

Wow there 7 preying mantis's on my back porch window 0_0 I've never even seen two together before, was pretty cool.

The only other bug i don't try to stomp is a beetle, the rest can taste shoe.

So…I found out a professor killed himself about a week ago at my old school.

http://www.kenoshanews.com/news/parkside_community_mourns_loss_of_professor_19097698.html

I never took a class with him, but I've walked in the general area of where he killed himself many times, and it's pretty screwed up knowing that, if I walk in that general area now, the only thought that will come to my head is "a man died here".

Wellllll… I'm jobless again, haha.

They're lacking orders again so the amount of lines gets cut in half. Might be back to normal in a month so I'll be back for the third round.

So yeah, I have time to be creative, yay.

1) Finish the issue collecting short comics.
2) Do the b&w sketchbook Inkbook #2 (got enough art to ink for that).
3) Do more stories for Carnivore (so I can update again).
4) Write a novel during the upcoming NaNoWriMo.
5) Do a b&w graphic novel of around 180 pages.

I'm aiming to do at least points 1-4 during this year. And start 5.

And now, a second post with QUOTES AND STUFF!

I wrote a novel last NaNoWriMo. Made a quick edit (picked up a stack of typos and some grammar screwery and said "done!". Sent it off to a friend who promised to edit it for me further. Well, apparently there's so many small grammar errors that he's about 30% done at this time, heh. Part of the problem is that he's doing the very same thing as a school teacher, so he's not very keen on working on this thing after work (plus I'm not paying him so I have no heart to nag him more often than once a month).

The only other bug i don't try to stomp is a beetle, the rest can taste shoe.

I don't like to stomp beetles, they're a bit too squishy. Especially the somewhat larger ones.

I never took a class with him, but I've walked in the general area of where he killed himself many times, and it's pretty screwed up knowing that, if I walk in that general area now, the only thought that will come to my head is "a man died here".

My mom died of heart attack on the nearby bus stop 11 years ago. It's the bus stop I've been using to go to work/school/the city throughout the 11 years. Believe me, you start forgetting about that after the first few years, andsince it's just a person you did not know that well, it should stop bothering you within a year. Life goes on.

Southwest asia!!

it's a blast, minus all the mindless rules. but when you only spend time at work, or at the gym or sleeping, then you really never cross the rules. i've been 5 whole trips without ever breaking a rule that people could see. that's almost a year and a half worth of not rule breaking.

but i've heard that the rules are so mindless now, that i may not be able to walk to the bathroom without breaking one.

It's a war-zone, so you have to be professional and courteous, and represent everything the military is to … other military members?
————-

I do have something to not complain about! i was just grumpy last night so i forgot.

The Ren Faire was. amazing.
I expected something kinda small, but when we got there, we spent two hours walking around (just looking from the outside at all the shops) and only saw half. we then went back to the beginning went to each shop we liked, the wife got herself a wenches outfit, and that took another hour.
we were there for about 7 hours, and i wish we had the money to stay another night and go the next day! we only saw about half of it.
our hotel room had a jacuzzi, and it was half off that night.

maybe next year i'll buy an outfit and walk around.

I'm sorry to hear that, man.

Both of my grandparents died in my kitchen of the house we live in now (it was their house, and now we live in it), and everytime I walk in there, I just think "food lol".

Sometimes at night, it's really creepy though. Like I'll hear something/see something, look back, and it won't be there. Weird stuff.

———————————————————–

School starts tuesday. Last year of high school though. Good thing is, I've been a lot more productive with the comic. Beginning to get a bit more creative with my art in the comic. So I think my art's beginning to look a lot better.

Man. I can't wait for school though. I'll be able to get away from my drawing desk (more inspiration, I think) and all the girls.

8| aww yea.

Oh grandparents are the worst for that. My grandfather was a painter & decorator and every time I paint walls he's there mocking me, especially when I get to the awkward corners - "That's what they taught you at art college is it? Heh heh!"

Dead people need to get a life.

When I was little I used to climb in the doorways by putting my feet on one side and my back on the other. Noticed today that I'm too big to do that now. : (

My great grandpa does that. Only with him it's all, "dammit! That's no way to build a ship you little nerd! Didn't that lazy grandson of mine ever teach you how to use a planer, you idiot!"

Or at least I think that's what he's saying. I'm no expert in Dead German.

First day of school…suuucks
My poor friend got bullied immidietly when she walked into the class…I couldn't beleive that 18-year olds were capable of behaving in such a way.
They were laughing and screeching like monkeys, and one guy opened a window so we wouldn't choke from her smell -.- .
I just stood there typing on my cellphone, yes,I feel bad about it,but I tried talking to them numerous times before but they don't give a **** what I have to say as usual.
But fortunetly, she sort of "doesn't" get sarcasm despite being very intelligent, and after talking afterward, she didn't seem upset at all.
Regardless, this doesn't make it right.Sorry for the vent guys, but I'm still shocked by today…I tought there is a certain age when you outgrow this sort of childish behaviour.

It's got so cold here,and I only have 1 longed sleeve shirt.This is a shopping emergency =P

i did too. then i punched a dude in the face, and it stopped. Then i became the kid no one made fun of cause i'd snap and bring a gun to school.

I would never do that, i only punched the one kid cause he punched me.

One fight was all it took there in the big US and A?
I've had hundreds of fights, sometimes winning, sometimes not. I guess the threath of guns is lower here…

But the bullying stopped once I dropped to a lower kind of education, the people there were more social, even though they mostly were below my intelectual level (Yeah, I'm smug like that… Not afraid to say it neither) they still were much better for me. And now that I've arrived at college I even have a good group of friends!

It was my first fight of high school, and i knocked the kid out. I also joined the wrestling team.

In junior high i was in a ton of fights, but everyone fought, so it was nothing different.

Lately i've realized that the number 72, is almost everywhere in my life. i'm trying to determine if i picked the number for my name, because i see it everywhere, or if i see it everywhere because i picked it for my name.

ARRRRGH.

10th grade starts for me tomorrow! I don't wanna goooooooo.

In my comic news: My comic apparently got 600 views today. I don't really know how, considering I haven't been advertising. It gave me a pretty good self esteem boost considering my stats have been pretty crappy lately, like 20-40 views a day.
