Oh well. I guess we'll maybe, perhaps, see you around, some other time, then.

Hope you resolve whatever it is that you're planing on resolving.

Well I appreciate the page fuck up but I really need the break.
I fixed it. Seventy is a page terrorist.

You should do as Ryuwolf did- exercise, get big muscles, and date lots of girls. ^_^

Hey, check this out!
You can make an app for your comic to go on Nokia phones:
http://appwizard.ovi.com/web_nokia/stepone.jsp

Just use the rss link from your comic page!
It only makes a simple text feed really, but people can click through to your comic page using it.
It's not whiz-bang brilliant, because our rss feeds are pretty basic, but it DOES show recent updates exactly when they happen, so if you've got good descriptive and interesting author notes on each page (not one of those lame-arses that leave them blank), then it should be good enough.

Anyway, it's free and it's a good way to get your stuff out there!

…now to look for iphone and Android versions…

i found out on facebook that my former step father did something really really fucked up. and everyone on facebook (from my hometown) is posting about how fucked up it is. but they don't know my relation to that. specially since i kept my step dad under raps (because he was such a horrible person) and that they used his regular name, which he doesn't go by because he's a junior. or the second or whatever.

either way it's fucked up. seriously.

I'm glad i got my mom to leave him way back when.

what he do? Did it invole an animal?
——————

I have to share this…

So I'm at the back of the garden this morning, feeding my cat, it's a blistering hot summer's day.
Birds are going crazy. There are these two wattlebirds darting about all over the place and two massive ravens eyeing everything with their speculative sneaky intelligence.

Then I hear a rustle in the giant bamboo and there's the huge brown rat that's leapt onto the fence carrying something big in its mouth. The oblivious rat scurries along the top of the fence through the ivy towards me and my cat, I go over to look (and so does said cat). The crazy rat just notices us for the first time, squeaks, backs up terrified, and drops its bundle down beside the fence and then runs away.
I snatch it up before puss can investigate.
It's a baby rat, as big as a fully grown mouse, eyes still sealed shut, beautiful short, shiny brown fur all over it.

What could I do???
I don't kill animals. I don't kill them by neglect either… Puss might kill but that's not what I do, I don't give him prey either, he finds his own or he gets nothing.
I was getting ready for work, with not much time left… Had to find a box, some water soaked tissue, some milk in a lid, some bamboo leaves, milk-soaked bread… I hope it's ok. I don't really want to bring up a baby rat though. T_T

That happened to me…a mouse had babies under my bathtub and left one behind. It was too young for food and i figured letting my cat end it quickly was better than putting it outside to starve to death. Maybe you could try putting it back and hoping the mom hears it.

Battlestar galactica…
Season 1: WOWOWOW
Season 2: WOOOOOOOW
Season 3: the fuck

Well I'm three episodes into the third season…it's starting to get on my nerves like Heroes did with Sylar. I hated that character so much and they wouldn't get rid of him…same with Baltar.

I got a very shitty day to look forward too tomorrow otherwise.

I can't believe I slept all day Sunday. I used to be able to get out of bed after working long hours. I'm getting old.

It's wonderful when management doesn't tell me I'm working until noon until fifteen minutes after I was supposed to leave.

But I got tons of work on the comic done. The building is getting a new executive director so there may be changes a-coming. Or there may not.

You know what the wife said today? "You know dear we'll be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary when you turn 50!"

So something special has to be planned for those two milestones four years from now. But then time is ending in 2012 so it won't matter.

Done!
Hopefully the mummy rat will come back… I filled the box with shredded newspaper to keep the little mite warm and cosy and put a rat sized hole in one side so mum can get in and investigate- also put it on a route I know she visits and added some cat biscuits to make it more tempting for her.

It was hard to let go of him in the end. I never thought a baby rat could be so fricken cute! I thought they either looked like pink embryo maggoty things, or shaggy, skinny, smelly small sized rat things, but it's not so! Little Squeaker has short silvery brown, silky, shiny fur, a fat little baby body with cute little rolls, a rounded little head like an otter that's too big for his little body, and tiny little perfectly round monkey ears. And all he wanted to do was burrow between my fingers and sleep (missing his litter-mates).

I would seriously keep him if I didn't have a great big cat that looks on all rats as after-dinner snacks and has been wondering around despondent and disappointed, looking at me with big expectant eyes waiting for me to hand him his little furry wriggling treat so he can gulp it down in one bite.

@Skull- was the new Battlestar as good as Farscape?

Get out the door on the dot! That way they can't get ya ;)

This trick has worked for me for years…
But start staying a little late just once, and they get you! Happens every time -_-

he was involved in an infants death. as the story is released he may or may not have been the person to directly cause it.

i don't know. i feel so bad for this man. so upset that (apparently) he didn't change.

Or acting like a student. If Im not doing anything I can sleep all day.

Or am I just getting old?

Anyway. In othernews I have to paint a canvas to go on sale in my grandfathers shop. Im really pressured to make this look sellable.

@frankkerr

That's great: paint something that will sell. Can you go outrageous? whether it's a celebrity picking his/her nose, or just RED? or does it have to be something along the line of a bowl of bananas?

za kitchen, she is no more, for now. The demo happened today, and apparently we'd been living with 50s (40s?), Colonial-American-couple-stenciled, 12-inch tiles buried beneath the formica backsplash. I think we now need the services of an exorcist.

My rat is kept in a different room from the cats…for the most part they don't care about him, but my youngest kitty cat likes to attack his cage. Which is strange, because if I let them out of the cage together(supervised of course) they seem to get along just fine.

It wouldn't work with mine. He's been hunting and eating them since he could walk. Rat to this cat = dinner

Unfortunately mummy rat didn't take baby last night. -_-
Baby seems ok though. licking a bit of milk, crawling along and snuggling… and pooping.
Stupid mummy rat.

I really can't bring up a baby rat :(

I don't even know how you can stand to have those around, wild rats are nasty, dirty things. If it makes you feel better that little baby probably already has mites and internal parasites. Wild rats are different to domesticated rats anyway and I don't know if it would ever become tame if you did try to raise it.

Except I have a job where I cannot leave my post until properly relieved. I'm even viewed as reliable and responsible!

When I had a job where I could leave on the dot? I was in my car with the keys in the ignition at the assigned time. But I gots responsiblity so I gotta be there.

First in and last out. Ooo-rah.

And every once in a great while I'm guranteed to know what I'm doing or at least look like I know what I'm doing even if I can't spell guarantee. ;)

Awwww! Send him to me, I'll take care of him. ; )

So I think my dad is going to get us a bunny for Christmas. Yayyy! : )

And I get a new iPod(but only cos it's free…I'm not spoiled). I think it will be a good Christmas this year.
Of course, boxing day I will be here complaining about how much of a letdown Christmas was, just like I do every year.

Edit: By the way, the annoying "interactive advertisement" disappeared for like two days but now it's back again. -_-

Fell down 18 icy steps as I left home to pick up my daughter, the following 2 mile walk was agony.

Now at home in pain as everything hurts like a mo-fo.

the steps are pretty much solid with snow and ice and the only way in and out of my home. damn. At least it was me and not one of the kids.

Get some sand and spread it generously on the steps. You'll end up with mud once it melts but at least it'll be walkable until then.

Speaking of falling down… I fell THREE TIMES yesterday. I'm so fucking tired at times, I can't keep my balance and with all the snow and ice that's a surefire way to hug the concrete.

Also, TWO BUSES BROKE ON ME YESTERDAY! (it's after midnight and I just woke up so yesterday)

First the one to work, the kind that's double lenght and connected by this rubber sleeve. It drove into a pile of snow with its right back wheels and couldn't go either way. Luckily the next bus picked us up so we managed to get to work. Although BARELY. But then six other people I work with (out of a team of 15) did not get through at all (one arrived two hours late, the rest probably got stuck in smaller towns and villages where simply NO BUSES managesd to get through for the whole day).

On the return trip, about thirdof the way through the bus stops and the driver goes outside to check stuff. And then he reports through the radio that he has NO BREAKS! He kept on going for two more bus stops, before we got to the area with heavier city traffic, then dumped us all on the bus stop and told us to wait for a replacement one. Ugh.

- - - - -

Anyway, two good news. My Moebius books arrived awhile ago and they were GREAT. Now I got my
PHILIPPE DRUILLET book, Lone Sloane/Delirius. And man, for something printed in the 70s? It looks in good shape! Too bad the american edition is shrunk down to Heavy Metal format, not full A4. But eh, everything's better than nothing!

Came home today to an early Christmas present…

She is a 4 month old lop mix rescue. We've named her Juliet…my little sister insisted on a name from Shakespeare, haha. If anyone can think of a better girl character's name from Shakespeare let me know. Cordelia was the only other nice one I could think of, and we've already used that for something else.
Anyways, she is super cute. : ) I've always wanted to get a pet for Christmas.

Viola, Desdemona, and Miranda are nice, in my own opinion
