There goes another $600 auto repair bill.

Just upgraded by drawing folder to a binder, seeing as the old folder was falling apart. I like to keep my old sketches from like, '07 on. It piles up after a while.

I also took all the unused paper from my old, scrappy sketchbooks and put them in a bag to use for later. I predict drawing is going to be the thing I'll be doing most this Summer in between school work and tennis. :P

I wanna see them. Make an art dump thread.

And I've got a $13 repair bill that would've been $287 more… except that I DO know how to fix my own brakes. Just gotta wait 'til parts come in (rear brake cylinder seals/pistons… most of the auto repair stores are out of stock, and I'm not paying $60 for them at a Korean store)…

That's the reason I don't drive. Cars are money pits.

I need a holiday. My mind isn't in good working order, I keep making silly mistakes- more than usual. I need to re-energise and bump myself out of routine for a while. I think.

It's either that or a cold coming on.
Or all those codeine pills I took from Saturday to Tuesday because I was waking up with a bade migraine every morning…

Oh man. Skool topped me with her news post again. Perfection ^^

I don't know about that, Ozone. Unlike yours, this newspost didn't include gimp stables. Not a one! -shakes head sorrowfully-

well, it looks like today is another day of work… except LONGER!
We have a training/theory/something like a school at work/whatever day today and since they can't do it during work hours (as that'd stop production)… well… we have to get to work THREE HOURS EARLIER!
At least it's second shift…

Yesterday we managed to hit 1340 packed sets, a new hi-score for the line!

with my awesome technical googling skills, i found out that my wifes problem could be related to a fairly common engine problem in cadillac's engines. it'll only be a 45 dollar fix, with about 20 minutes of work (if that's the problem)
I was/am afraid that that isn't the problem, and it's going to come with a hefty price tag.
even right now 45 bucks is tight since all my spare money is going into my vacation to home. it'll be my first time home in a year. the 4 days in september didn't count, because i spent it with the wife and her side of the family for her grand fathers passing, i saw my family for an hour or two. Vacation time is definatly something i need right now.

Extra hours have come my way but of course that meant I didn't sleep last night. However I did finish some pages for the new comic.

I've just been informed that one of my aunts died. She was 86. Apparently, she was taking her husband to the doctor's office when she apparently had a stroke or brain clot in her brain and died. She was long thought to be in better shape than he was, especially after his cancer bout. Hrm. Strikes me as an ironic way to pass on I suppose, but really, there's a lot of peculiar deathly business in my family.

Tf2 is free (to play, providing you buy it first.)

Also chernobog: Thats really ironic. Mainly its those you least expect. But at that age it kinda is a bit expected. But being in good shape it would kinda be a surprise. My great uncle was a smoker. And he smoked a lot. He died in his late 90s. Some people who are in perfect health die a whole lot younger.

I just got done painting 2 portraits and pictures of my girlfriend. They turned out really well. Although she wants to see them before her birthday. And I just applied for a couple of summer jobs.

I'm bored of TF2 now. It takes too long to connect for some reason at the moment anyway.

I found a a carton of condensed milk in the cupboard that was six years past its use by date. I opened it up and it was all gluggy and brown inside, like caramel, or rally old yucky puss.
Anyway… it sort of smell ok, so I tasted it. It tasted ultra-sweet, with a hint of caramel and another hit of mold.
So I had a few more spoonfuls just to keep on testing…

Everything seemed fine. I went to bed nice and early at 11:30… Woke up at 12:30 with excruciating stomach pain! Had to rush to the toilet. Pain, pain, pain, guts aching…
I took some painkillers with codeine in them, which is the best thing for that sort of stomach issue, had a good sleep and was fine in the morning.

Every time I stupidly eat something that is obviously pff the same thing always happens! When will I bloody learn???
"zingy" tasting fruit is a killer. Also noodles that have gone darker in tone and smell really "wheaty". Off milk seems to be ok though. You can drink it when it's chunky and still be perfectly ok.

…FUCK…I just remembered I have an essay due tomorrow…FUCK.
You're still in school?! The summer's wasting away…!
yeah. and we only had one snow day and started earlier than all the other schools in my state.
Next weeks the last though.

I did nothing but work all week.
Cause I also forgot about a project along with the essay.
A Lesson Before Dying's a stupid book.
And will always be.

American Heart is another funny thing I found.
I have to go take a shit.
Zombie shit?

What?:O Are you preparing to survive a nuclear winter?!

The only time you should eat something that far gone is if it's canned: you could probably crack open a can of corned beef from the Napoleonic wars and still be ok. Actually Napoleon didn't have cans did he? I know from experience that 10 year past it lager is as good as new.

I can't really imagine that anyone would do what Oz did. Oz, you have a problem. T___T

I gave in today and finally bought a new laptop. My old one which badly needed reformatting (it could no longer do many basic things) but couldn't because I lost the disc and wasn't powerful enough to put 7 onto) had just been cluttering up my coffee table for the last 2 years.

Still, I got a £40 trade in for it at PC world, and the new one (a shiny red ultralite toshiba t110-10j, I sprung for the one with a pentium) was on clearance, so the whole thing with a case cost me less than £400. So I did okay there. :] They are £450 on amazon!

I didn't even have to do a backup or anything because the old laptop had gotten to the point where it was so useless I didn't keep files on it any more. Just wiped out any personal stuff and checked that no dvds were in.

There's something nice about having a new PC with nothing on it. Half an hour to put on antivirus, firefox, and one or two other things. Then it feels all… blank-slatey. :] I'll have to figure out how best to organize it. It's nice to not have to rely totally on my work laptop anymore.

Can't figure out how to make a D drive without buying a disk manager program or reformatting the thing, though. :[

I just found my father's obituary. on accident. it's the only thing i've seen about his death. the only other official notice i got was the answering machine message. oh so many years ago.

never google yourself on a google phone. it goes further than you want it too.

Look up creating partitions in the Help system.

Anyone else getting this site opening up when they visit DD? -http://www.therugged.com/
