On a related note, have you noticed that folks from the USA refer to themselves and their production as "American," claiming the entirety of two continents. Wouldn't United Statesian be better?
Technically, the short name for the country is "America"

"United States of America" is the proper name just like "Republic of Ireland" or "Commonwealth of Australia" – which are called "Ireland" and "Australia" respectively (not "I'm a Commonwealthian." )

Okay, so our country is named after our continent (or vice versa). It isn't that novel. A "New Yorker" can be referring to city locality or state locality. That is considerably more confusing, imo. ;)

Hey! For the record, Australia is NOT a country!

It's a movie starring Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman!

He hasn't shown up in this forum yet but I think D0m, the creator of Nadya is from Colorado. I'm sure of it in fact.

Damn good comic too!

Alas, I would disagree as it isn't hot enough for me there :P

Winnipeg, Manitoba is more my kind of heat.

Hey, I used to live in Winnipeg. Awesome place. But uh, don't you mean "lack of heat", lol? I remember the winters were freezing.

We discovered Brazil,Afrika and half of India.

I'm half-Portuguese and it's pretty annoying that the only thing the majority of the world knows about us is our style of preparing chicken. And soccer.
